So... How do you feel that Ruin's dead? Like, for REAL. Charlie somehow broke the bind and Titan gave him an easy way out, for some reason.
I think I am tired of TSAMS at this point.
I am glad he's dead, because his ultimate ending shouldve been rejoining Monty. Though, this was not given.
Instead, he is still being milked for views, and his ending was ultimately destroyed leaving him completely unfinished.
He should not have died that fast, nor nearly as easily. What was the point of giving him immortality by someone who is ABOVE Star Power if all it takes is a small spell to undo it?
It destroys his repayment of his sins, and I am tired of trying to explain this show to myself so I can watch an episode without the feeling of eyebags under my eyes.
I consistently defend the writers when talking about TSAMS, but I was doing this while they were putting out their best work.
Davis and Reed made it clear they are not as passionate for this show as they were, so the writing is lazier.
They have also made it clear they care more about clicks and views and payment than the story itself, and if angst sells, that's what they'll keep doing.
They also made it clear the show will not be ending.
I may be somewhat emotionally charged right now, but I have been thinking this for years, I just never wanted to pull out because I feared many would stop listening to me, as TSAMS characters is all they care about in my content.
I do not want to be dragged along this forever train. I can't keep stomaching it. I need something nourishing, which is something I can't say TSAMS is to me anymore.
I jumped to my own writing a very long time ago when I started noticing the empire of TSAMS start falling apart.
I will still be working on those. I love the stories I want to share. Ten Week Eclipse, Ruin In Wonderland, Ruin's 40 years, etc.
I want to focus on writing those stories in a way that is nourishing, conclusive, nuanced, but rounded and something to learn from.
TSAMS started like that for me, like many other great people.
I fear it has lost that now.
Ruin is being left unfinished. I don't believe he is in a state where he can be finished in a satisfactory way.
I still believe Reed and Davis are good writers and I will celebrate them silently for their indie works whether I watch it or not.
