Morwen “...that light still gleamed in [her eyes] that long ago had earned for her the name Eledhwen, proudest and most beautiful of mortal women in the days of old.” Whenever I picture her in my head, she’s quite dark and in Victorian fashion. No idea why. Sorry.

У вас замечательная стилистика рисунка ^_^
Thank you! ^-^
Elrond and Celebrían The Lord and Lady of Rivendell “...and though healed in body by Elrond, [she] lost all delight in Middle-earth...”
Nienor "...he constrained her to gaze into his eyes, and he laid a spell of utter darkness and forgetfulness upon her..."
Aegnor and Andreth “I was young and I looked on his flame, and now I am old and lost. He was young and his flame leaped towards me, but he turned away, and he is young still. Do candles pity moths?”
I had Doriath in mind while painting this, although I’m sure Doriath’s forests would be much darker and scarier.
The blue wizards, Alatar and Pallando. My headcanon likes them corrupted and dark better, as in the earlier version of their story. “What success they had I do not know; but I fear that they failed, as Saruman did, though doubtless in different ways; and I suspect they were founders or beginners of secret cults and 'magic' traditions that outlasted the fall of Sauron.” - J.R.R. Tolkien
