Ah.. busy. Before it was so much easier to lounge around– nowadays it’s nearly impossible. Would you believe me if I told you this is the first time in two months I’ve had to myself?

If I had known all the trouble the old man went through before, I might’ve gone a little bit easier on him.

– But what about you? It must be exciting having to no longer deal with mountains of paperwork.

Do you regret accepting it? Surely you must have thought it would be something like this.

Myself? Ah, well it is nice to finally have time to relax without having to fret for the few hundred people working under me. I suppose this lifestyle suits me better.

Whilst complacency may be foolish there is a time for rest, and I do believe you have more than earnt such.

Hm. That’s good to hear. Although I am curious what he intends to do now that he’s back. I doubt many people know of it either.

Hah! Even if they’d asked I’d have refused, which I’d suppose they knew if they know much about me at all. Supporting you is one thing; having to head it myself would have been rather a different story.

I don’t know, but I do know he no longer wishes to be a soul reaper. I suggested he see if Kukaku would rather he head the family again; she was never one for politics.

No one was really at fault for what happened– but I understand the feeling of losing someone important.. So I can sympathize with his younger brother to an extent.

Whether at fault or not what’s done is done and cannot be changed, such is the way of things.
