Updates!

I'm dying with finals meanwhile Allison is going all over (hmph) I finished classes on the 6th and am stuck here till the 17th (TOMORROW) for finals. but of course I went home over the weekend for a concert lol. Allison is headed on a service trip to Harlan, KY and then is home for like 16 hrs before jumping on a plane to Ireland. So we've been a bit absent lately but needless to say once I'm done school I'll be back to being a tumblr noob.

What she says: I'm fine.

What she means: Do you think the marauders were always excited about Halloween? Do you think that James liked to start coordinating costumes since July? Because, "come on, Padfoot, we're doing this right, we need to investigate what everyone is going to wear so we are THE COOLEST". And Sirius just so happy because growing up he never celebrated Halloween like other kids, and Remus being lowkey about it but just loving it so much, and Peter so happy that they're planning every single detail together. And of course, James talking to all of Lily's friends trying to figure out what she'll be wearing, so they can match "accidentally". And once they're dating they need new ideas because now they're a bigger group. But after they're married and Harry is born, all the marauders are just so happy because HAVE YOU SEEN HOW CUTE BABY COSTUMES ARE???? And Harry's first Halloween is so perfect because even though he's tiny, they take him trick-or-treating and everybody laughs because they think that all these adults got dressed up for a baby, but it's the other way because they all love Halloween so much. And they're so excited because next year they'll go as quidditch players and "oh my god Lily, Little Prongs in his tiny uniform with his tiny broom". But then they have to go into hiding, and they're all worried because everything is changing and people are dying and their world is going through war and they're right in the middle of it, but Lily says they'll have their own Halloween once things get better, but that never happens because that same Halloween one of their best friends betrays them, another one runs away, and the other one is sent to Azkaban for a crime he didn't commit and they never get to celebrate Halloween as a family again.

i’m just sitting here dying of laughter thinking about McGonagall looking over Harry in first year like yeah the kid gets into some dangerous shenanigans but it always seems to be for a greater purpose and his heart’s in the right place and he’s so sweet and quiet usually, clearly he takes after his mother Lily thank goodness this is good this boy is good 

and then dead ass one year later kid shows up to school crashing into a tree with his bestie in a flying car instead of just owling the damn school that they’d missed the train and she’s just like DING DONG I WAS WRONG
