It's a cold winter night, and you were feeling a little lazy and cold. tags: fluff, gn reader, established relationship.
You were doing it. No matter how cold it was, you would go into the bathroom to take a shower. "Alright! Let's do it."
An annoyed voice grunted behind you. "You don't need a pep talk to shower."
"I do when it's so cold out!" You whined, turning to your boyfriend reading his papers. "I might turn into ice at this rate."
Woozi didn't even raise his eyes to answer you. "We have hot water."
"But I still have to get undressed and dry off and that could kill me, Ji," you say, having second thoughts. "Maybe I'll just do it tomorrow–"
"You smell, let that serve as motivation."
You gasp in mocked offense. Woozi is still writing in that damn book. "Fine," you get up, shivering but making a beeline towards the bathroom. "The lengths I go to cuddle you."
You quickly close the door behind you, missing the way Woozi's eyebrows twitch at your words.
As soon as you start the shower you hear a weird, loud noise coming from inside the bedroom, but decide to think nothing of it. Woozi could surely take care of it, whatever it was.
It's only a few moments later when you get out fully dressed, getting ready to warm up a cold bed until you realize it's already warm. "Huh?"
Woozi doesn't grant you a look. You look at his right, up on his nightstand and there it is, the fancy hair dryer his mom had gifted him for his birthday last year, when he had moved out of the dorms.
Woozi took it, but once you were alone he had called it unnecessary as he already owned one. And now, he had blow dried the bed for you with it.
His cheeks were dusting pink, a small grimace on his face. "Just go to sleep, I'll be up for awhile."
"I can't sleep now! I'll wait until you're done. Thank you–"
"Don't. And you'll fall asleep anyways, don't promise anything that you'll feel bad about later."
"I will not. I am a reliable lover, you can trust me to keep you some company."
He doesn't grant you an answer, rolling his eyes and focusing on his reading. You nod to yourself, determined.
It's only fifteen minutes later when he hears a light snore coming from his bed.
The curve of his smile is gentle as it greets his face, and it seems like he can't go back to it's neutral state. You were too much work, sometimes. But as he sneaks a look at you, all warmed up and wrapped in his blankets, looking as inviting as you always do, all he wants to do is finish his stupid task and go lay down next to you.
The pen in his left hand works faster.
