I started forraying into digital painting half a year ago during the pandemic n_n and here is the result. For @kacchakobigbang, I partnered up with the super wonderful writer @HazelRoses1 to bring you some #kacchako goodness! Tried marker art to spoof a Jump cover.

My intention was to not start colouring in art until I felt I had gotten the hang of lines and inking as it would open up a whole new dimension to consider, but I’m starting to realize how much time it takes to learn and improve the motions involved with  markers. 

Uraraka’s nose looks weird here -_- Lighting and shadows… I need practice.

Lessons learned from using markers for the first time: blending is non-existent compared to watercolour.

“Vintage”

It’s been a while since I last used my watercolouring set. This piece was mostly drawn and coloured in analogue. There’s a certain ..earnest softness to analogue that I haven’t been able to replicate with digital painting yet.
