HI GUYS !! i'm marty and i am 18. i use she/he pronouns and i mostly just like milo murphy's law and red dwarf. i am the world's biggest fan of time travel and I love sara murphy more than anyone else does ever. trust. i am also a big fan of anything comedy, scifi or just low budget :))

i'm also an artist who specifically likes watercolour and gouache painting tho you're most likely to see digital art for fanart (check out my art at #marts arts) !! i mix abt what i do and have the worlds least consistent artstyle. realistically it's just cuz i like doing realism but that's kinda. boring. so i spice it up a bit sometimes :p I am also the no1 crosshatching warrior.. pry that technique away from my cold dead hand lmao. my other favourite hobby is cooking but i don't post any of that cuz i eat it too quick. yum yum yum

i also really like films tho i'm not a regular in any fandoms for them. my top 3 are breaking glass, xanadu and dark star. they are all peak and you should all watch them asap :D

I am also a very dedicated selfshipper with the cat from red dwarf and I tag all my posts abt it with #<3 I am very sharing friendly cuz realistically he would be too and trust on everyone's souls our relationship has lasted longer than 3 minutes /ref. this also means my blog is regular victim to a copious amount of f/o imagine posts sorry guys lmao

Rimmer’s bedroom scene with Nirvana has to be one of the most un-Red Dwarf like scenes in the history of the show, especially when you add the deleted scene onto it, which makes it come across as more romantic and sweet and makes it clearer than Nirvana is fighting her attraction to Rimmer because it’s actually against ship rules to form attachments. It’s like his character has stepped out of the world of Red Dwarf and into the world of romance. It’s almost jarring where his character is concerned, especially when you consider Nano-Rimmer’s scenes with women in series 8 - particular THAT scene with Kochanski in the episode Cassandra, where the writers revert him back to being immature around sex.

Bless series 5 for giving us a more serious and sexy Rimmer for a while but that bed scene just stopped being Red Dwarf for an ‘all too brief’ few minutes.

Tbh i think Holoship is the most un-red dwarf episodes of the show. We go from our little crew on the old, worn out Starbug/Red Dwarf to a larger crew on a fancy, sleek white spaceship who go on space adventures. If they were going to include. And of course there's the romance parts that OP mentioned! Still a great episode regardless!
