Colt Double Eagle

A peculiar semi-automatic handgun, it has the appearance of a 1911 but differs slightly. One of the biggest changes, or additions, is the decocker located in the grip similar to a SIG Sauer. Although it was available in different calibers, it is most commonly found in .45 ACP and 10mm Auto. In spite the short production run, the Double Eagle is fairly collectable with prices in the $800 to $1,000+ range. (GRH)
