quick little note. Quinn’s decision to pull the pitchfork from his chest was neither impulsive nor senseless. he realizes that he’s destroyed his life, chased away the only woman for whom he ever felt anything resembling romantic feelings, and ostracized himself from his daughter. despite his flaws, he loves Brooke more than anything in the world and the thought of having severed that connection made him realize there was no point in struggling. he deserved it, in his mind; Brooke, however, deserved better. he didn’t want to hold her down any longer.
