if debra is not the most difficult patient hannibal has ever encountered, she is surely one of the worst. the woman knows no limit to her stubbornness, and she is not naturally inclined to the patience that therapy takes. a series of steps. he’s fortunate to be so calm, because debra then unconsciously mirrors it after a moment of brief consideration. the breath she had been holding in her lungs is expelled, and antsy ms. morgan snatches her purse up from the coffee table and slings it over her shoulder.
