Silvain's Recolors of Yuxi's Faire Folk Sylvan Outfit converted to TM and CU

I converted these pretty recolors of Yuxis 3t2 Faire Folk Outfit by SilvainTheShadow aka @simblrkersil to CU and TM. Little Warning the recolors "Explosive" and "Depth Charge" were identical in Silvains Download, it looks like they accidentally reused the depth charge texture-map for the explosive-recolor. That's why I didn't include the standalone conversions of "Explosive". But in case there is a fixed version that I simply haven't found, I've included the repoed files in a separate folder.

Meshes and the preview are included. To use the repoed files you need to download the adult files linked above.

mdhttr323 Old Charm Shelves in Vaporwave and True Romance palettes

I recolored @hugelunatic's overhauled and repoed version* of mdhttr323's Old Charm shelves in the pastel Vaporwave palette and the more subdued True Romance palette for a total of 33 recolors. Some of the pastels came out a bit too bright on this textures in my opinion but I included the for completeness.

I included both meshes, the swatches and the preview. Everything's compressed.

NathanialRoyale's Arthelope Kilt edit converted to TM and EM

A quick conversion of @frankscrank2 aka NathanialRoyale's edit of Arthelopes kilt. Available in Standalone and repoed to AM. Binned as everyday and formal like the original. By the way, if you use my EM conversion you need to erase the elder binning of the original with SimPE, the Wadrobe Wrangler or the Outfit Organizer, otherwise it will end up doubled in the elder section.

Everything's compressed and the preview is included.

Parsimonious Back-Up Part 2 - CAS and Lots

I managed to finish the rest of the Sims 2 Backup of the Parsimonious website. You can find the first part here.

Clothes and skins

This part was a lot of work and I got kinda burned out. That's why it isn't made as neatly as the other parts.

I tried to rename the previews but it were just to many previews that needed to be renamed to match their packages and I just wanted to be finished after a while.

The packages are sorted in folder named after the mesh or in case of recolors of maxis clothing the expansion pack. I can't promise that I sorted all maxis recolors into the right folder, the previews were sometimes mislabeled and while I catched some labeling errors, I don't know how many slipped through.

Kates own meshes

While I included the meshes in the Clothes-Backup too, I also made a separate zip of all her meshes for easier downloading. Also included are the UV-map "outfits" she made for each one and the preview pictures.

Make up, accessories, eyes, eye brows

The Accessories are sorted in folders named after their meshes. One screenshot per folder shows the ages the accessory is available for.

The make up is organized after its type, I didn't screenshot the age parts for it but in general Kates stuff is all ages while the other creator made binned them mostly child or teen to elder.

The brows are all painted on and need no mesh. The eyes are neither geneticized nor towniefied.

I didn't renamed anything this time as the folders are small enough to find the files.

Another little warning: The files are rather old and the naming sometimes uses words that were more acceptable then but isn't acceptable nowadays. Some outfits are also quite stereotypical.

Lots

For each lot I included the main preview and a screenshot of the featured information. The lots are sorted after community, residential and special lots like hotels. Some special lots might be in the residential folder. I found some community lots that were accidentally(?) put into the "home" categories and I wasn't sure if some of the other lots were real special lots or just lots that look like hotels or dorms.

This should be almost all Sims 2 CC that were featured on the Parsimonious Site in 2025. At least one zip for clothing was falsely labeled and contained the duplicate of another outfit instead, there were two things I couldn't even download and multiple lots whose zip was corrupted and couldn't be opened. I uploaded a txt.file inside the backup folder for those.

I'm also quite sure that some files were deleted by the owners before I started.

In the end I can't promise that I really downloaded everything that was there.

Parsimonious Back-Up Part 1 - Buy and Build Mode

As I mentioned some time ago I started to make a backup of the CC found on the Parsimonious web site. The site itself hadn't had a content update since 2017, and the owners stopped changing the copyright date in 2023. Kate and co. made a lot of beloved CC so I decided to make sure everything is backed up in case of its disappearance. I started with Sims 2 but I will try back-up the rest too.

Since downloading, screenshotting (can't get all the infors otherwise) and sorting the Clothes part takes more time than I thought, I decided to upload the already finished parts.

The Zip-Files in the linked folder contains all Buy and Build Mode content available with its preview pictures. These are the original files from Parsimonious. I changed nothing internal, but I compressed everything for size-reasons.

Buy mode and non Homecrafter build mode CC: I included the Basegame versions in a separate folder inside the set folder. I also made a PDF-file that shows which set is where.

Walls, Floors and Ground paint: Only sorted it after its general type, as I got confused trying to sort them into themes. I changed a bunch of file-names to the match their zip-file name to make the preview and package names match for easier searching. One of the creators had the bad habit of not changing the Homecrafter names.

Little warning: One of the creators used a word in some package-names that was acceptable in the mid 2000s but is nowadays more widely recognized as the ethnic slur it is.

20 recolors of Deatherellas Zodiac Wall Deco

I made 20 random recolors of @deatherella's Zodiac Wall Deco. I just wish I had found some more nice glitter textures in my stash.

I included the master-mesh, texture sources, swatches and the preview. I compressed everything.

3 recolors of Kativips AC Gate

I simply needed some more colors for this gate by Kativip. I'm not sure where Kativip originally posted the gate, maybe here, but the previews are long gone so I can't say for sure. I included Sligs fixed version.

Included are the mesh and the preview, which shows all three recolors. I compressed everything.

Vintage Simstress' Northern and Southern European Dye Palettes as GIMP Palettes

@vintagesimstress made two pretty color palettes with colors that could be authentically used in the 1st century CE British Isles and the Roman Empire. I just turned the color codes into GIMP-palettes for easier use by GIMP-users.

Little "warning" some of the southern dyes are named after their ingredients instead of a "fancy name", which means that some tones have the same name, so I numbered them for easier copying and pasting.

I included the swatch pics.

Okra's Summertime Cut-out Swimsuit in 11 more colors plus adult conversion

I recolored Okra's Summertime Cut-out swimsuit in 11 colours and converted them and the originals to AF. You can choose between standalone recolors and adults repoed to teens. The swimsuits are on the basegame swimsuit mesh.

I took the liberty to include the originals since the Garden of Shadow servers seem to be a bit unstable right now, also the creator of the original swimsuits hasn't been active for more than 10 years so I thought it might be better to include them as a back-up in case the original link disappears. I deleted the special characters in the package-name and compressed them with the compressorizer.

The recolors are compressed too. I included the preview and swatches.

9 recolors of Fractured Moonlights "Carved Wolf Head"-Custom Burglar Alarm.

I made nine simple recolors of @fracturedmoonlight's Carved Wolf Head Custom Burglar Alarm. I tried to make most of them vaguely metallic. Little warning, these recolors are only for Fractured Moonlights functional object not on @hodgekiss' original decorative Carved Wolf Head conversion. If anybody wants the textures on that mesh they need to extract them from the SimPE file as I converted the swatch pictures into jpgs for a smaller file size.

I included the mesh, the preview and swatch pics. Everything's compressed.

An invisible recolor of EpiSims Sunlamp Controller

Something small this week.

@episims Sunlamp Controller is an object that makes all lamps in a room work like the Seasons sun lamp.

I made a simple invisible recolor to make it usable in themed games.

29 recolors of Fractured Moonlights Garden Planters

Another part of my "making better versions of some old bad recolors"-project. I first recolored @fracturedmoonlight Planters back in 2022 as a part of my 10 followers gift. I used way too bright colors, even for me.

So I made 26 more recolors using one of my wood textures. 13 clean and 13 grunged up ones. Also included are 2 metal recolors I did as an experiment (shown in the lower right corner) and one extra wood recolors using another texture. I wanted to make some more but didn't find other non-photorealistic grungy textures I liked and worked on the mesh.

Master-mesh, preview, swatches and sources are included. I compressed everything.

Episims' and PineappleForests Bowling Balls by Color Traits historized

This one was way harder than it should be. In the beginning I just wanted to replace the textures @episims and @pforestsims used in their Bowling Balls by Color Traits with recolors of @mortia's medieval bowling ball DR texture from her beautiful bowling alley DR. Somehow they ended up with black lines and I couldn't fix them. So I made some more textures using another wood texture. But Mortias DR was still a big help for making mine.

I replaced all 12 colors. Like the original the standard ball is replaced with the black ball. It's not compatible with any texture default.

Just in case somebody likes my vaguely watermelon-like texture but doesn't want to use the color traits version, I also made a non-color-trait texture default using the 12 colors and the original texture.

Included are the preview, the swatch and the texture source. I also included the originals "Requires things!" .txt just in case. The color trait versions needs, of course, Episims color traits and the easy inventory check mod by @hexagonal-bipyramid.

12 historical recolors of the AL break dance mat

I made 12 recolors of the break dance mat (and one invisible recolors of the stereo) using @hugelunatic's two-subset CEP extra. I'm not good at remembering where I put invisible stuff like Sunnis DR so I decided to make some more fitting recolors.

There's only one problem:

I tried making an invisible recolor of the stereo but for some reason the white trim stayed visible and I have no idea how to change that and the other existing CEP extra by @simsantoinc has the same problem. Which means one needs either hide the stereo under some clutter or use my recolors with Sunnis DR. The latter has the disadvantage that you need to use my invisible recolor because the DR and the CEP extra conflict a bit, which turns the boombox into a white texture-less shape instead of making it disappear.

Apartment Life and presumably HugeLuatics CEP extra (linked above) are needed. The mat recolors might work without the CEP or with Simsantos CEP but I haven't checked.
