the best goalie in all of hockey is aerin frankel btw. united states secretary of defense the frankenwall. all of hockey, not just women's, & sick of hearing it minimized as such. 99 shots against her thru all of olympics and ONLY TWO LET IN??! for reference the other teams let in like 12 each WHO IS DOING IT LIKE HER?????!

At the end of the day, I truly just feel horrible for the USA women’s hockey team, who were reduced to a joke by the president of the very country they won a gold medal for and whose anthem they sang proudly with American flags draped around their shoulders. Who were laughed at by their fellow Olympians and hockey players. Who have worked just as hard (if not harder) than the men to get to the point, because after the last Winter Olympics, many of them didn’t even know if they would be able to continue playing professional hockey on account of being women!

But I am so fucking proud of them and I refuse to let their win be overshadowed by this absolute garbage. They are gold medalists and always will be!

completely independent of rpf, i think it is so lovely how much all these idiots like each other. trevor and jamie smile when you so much as mention the other’s name. will and macklin are scarily inseparable. nico and jack take any and every opportunity to talk about what a joy it is to play together. even if not gay, they just LOVE each other and i still think that’s so sweet, especially considering that you might expect hockey players to be emotionally constipated from all the masculinity™️ but instead they are attached at the hip and confused about why you’re looking at them funny
