Recovery and forgiveness
Since deciding to recover I haven’t been on this account in quite a while, I am truly and honestly disgusted with myself looking back on it as I now realise what I did was harmful and wrong.
I understand personally that blogs such as this one are a coping mechanism, they made me feel less alone and not afraid anymore, but putting pictures of myself when I was unhealthy and dying just to get some gratification from others was something that simply made me worse, it was also a tool for disaster with other accounts that followed me, and I am truly and deeply sorry for it.
I didn’t want to make a new account because I feel that aknowleging that this was a part of my life is important, and I understand if some of my followers wish to unfollow me, but this will now become a space where I can be happy and healthy.
Sometimes I just need a little reminder that I always have permission to eat. If anyone else needs a reminder, reblog this for a anon to msg you the support you need if youre getting ready for a meal and feel a little shaky about it!!

You can’t live with an eating disorder.
You can survive. You can breathe and fake a smile and function, but you can’t live.
You can’t have fun, you can’t relax, you can’t enjoy food, you can’t succeed, you can’t dance, you can’t go to parties, you can’t do the things everyone else is doing, you can’t do the things you love, YOU CAN NOT LIVE.
Ana Logic, #124
“One interesting thing about being anorexic is that you don’t have energy to do most things; especially healthy things like therapy and treatment, self improvement…”
…and yet still have plenty of energy to do things that are destructive behaviors like train for ultra marathons or do jumping jacks all night…
Go figure…
