Logan and Kurt have a very different idea of what romance means.

Kurt would arrange a whole day thing if given the chance. His ideal date would include to go to the cinema or the theater, some outing to a fine restaurant where to eat delicious food and to drink even finer alcohol. He would put the cherry on top with a sweet night full of making love.

Logan on the other hand, he just simply doesn’t do dates. Give the man the opportunity and he would go out to a pub to play some games and that’s pretty much it. A nice hard fuck later to finish the fun and a long night of, hopefully, peaceful sleep.

However, Logan and Kurt have been together enough to know exactly how to charm the other.

Logan will choose to watch a film he knows Kurt loves or wants to see when the X-Men gather together for a “Family Bonding Time”. It doesn’t matter if Kurt can replay at this point most of the classic films, Logan would go through all of them only to see his Elf smile and breath the dialogues under his breath. Logan will put his arm over his shoulder when Kurt feels sad about any particular scene and even if “grunting” (only to keep his face as Wolverine in front of all their team mates and family) he will let Kurt snuggle with him in the romantic bits.

Kurt will propose a night out to the Bar when Logan seems about to start crawling walls or to swing a punch to Scot the next time the two of them have an argument. It’s not like Kurt doesn’t have fun at the Bar, it’s the bad cheap bear what annoys him and the grease of years upon years of fast food which sticks to his fur. But Kurt would take Logan and they would order the “best” bear around, Kurt will play darts with Logan and cheat moving Logan’s hand with his tail when he is about to shoot. They will play pool and order definitely junk food and chat about any game that’s going on the place’s battered tv. And Kurt will do this all the time Logan needs it because he loves to see his lover carefree and relaxed.

They actually don’t need a special occasion to have a bit of “adult’s only exercise” they both have a very healthy amount of pretty frequent sex. They both like to please and to try new things so they know they can always have fun there and to show how much love the other in body and soul.

if and when the x-men are rebooted into the mcu i need nightcrawler to be accurate!!!! like im sorry but i cannot get behind the emo teen look they went for in most of the x men movies and cameos in the deadpool movies, that is not my boyfriend!!!! he is an imposter!!!

but in all seriousness i love how nightcrawler is in the comics, i love how cheerful and silly he is and how he's so obessed with pirates. i want to see that catholic geramn pirate loving himbo in all his glory <3.

also!!!! him and wolverine being full on besties ( in love ), they have the best chemistry ever!!!! i wanna see them be silly together and care about each other and have cute heartfelt moments that i can look at and go " * point * ik what you are " like it is in the comics

But after Deadpool and Wolverine, come on Marvel! MCU please, give us a proper bonding with Logan and Kurt!

Comic Kurt is just the best there is!!

Seriously, at this point I’m not asking for his fur, I understand that can be a b*tch to do in the post production but make him silly and serious, not a clown or an easy joke, make him Logan’s “best friend” (we know what they are) and confident. Kurt seems himself as the worst teleporter but everybody wants him in the team because they know Nightcrawler is who you need when you need him!

After a complicated mission Logan stays behind in the Blackbird with Kurt to make sure his Elf is okey and he is not in any sort of discomfort… if you catch my drift

Just imagine Logan taking his family out for a nice day out when some jerk decides that’s fun to pick on the mutie mutant…

All of the members in the Howlett family are more than ready to gut the imbecile out but only Kurt being uncomfortable with the attention they are attracting makes them back down.

Don’t worry, it doesn’t mean the guy goes out freely, he will definitely think twice the next time he decides to use slurs on people. He definitely wetted his pants when the Snikt Family “snikted” at the same time XD

I was looking for Kurt’s references in Pinterest for another illustration when I stumbled with this comic page…

I have absolutely zero idea which comic this is from and I’m very much ignoring that the lady in the jacuzzi is Amanda/Jimaine.

The very much important bit here is that this silly man bamfed into a mission stark naked!!

And not only gloriously naked, no, no, no, naked and wet!!

No-one can tell me that Kurt is not an exhibitionist, any other would have at least looked for a par of pants but not our elf, who perfectly could have ported himself to the closet, no, he didn’t. He chose to show his magnificent blue ass around.

@pixieimp My headcanon is that, in a small circus, everyone in the show got changed together, there was no time or space for modesty when you are changing costumes as quickly as possible. And he shared a caravan with his mother and two siblings, not much privacy there either. Also, Germans (continental European’s in general) are not particularly body shy.

So, I don’t disagree, I just think it came from a different viewpoint.

I don’t know why but lately I have been thinking about Kurt as honorific big brother/stepdad for our dear Howlett children like:

Kurt being the other parental figure in Gabby’s life, he is the one who makes sure Gabby has a proper childhood, not because Logan cannot but because he is the one who is going to make sure she has a proper lunch or to read a bedtime story

Kurt being Laura’s confidant, they have a more sibling like relationship, she reminds him to his own sister (Rogue) more than to Logan, both women being so strong and independent, he just makes sure she doesn’t get lost in Wolverine’s shadow

Kurt being the soft figure in Akihiro’s life, the one who is gonna step in between both male Howlett before claws can start to snikt and punches can be punch. Kurt will be the reasonable one, the one who is gonna sit down with Akihiro and talk things through

I don’t know why but my heart is now soft for the Howlett household and their Elf!

Kurt reassuring Logan that he is doing good and right with all his children and making that stubborn man understand that it’s not bad if they are alike him because he is a wonderful and caring man

So adding more context after this post about my now very much headcanon because at this point I want to see more about whatever movie my brain is creating

How Logan’s new friends and family advised him to ask Kurt out:

The first person to notice Logan’s interest on the cute church boy is actually Wade, because of course it was him. His first advice to his friend however was to kidnap Kurt and to threaten him with killing his cat or mother if he doesn’t have a cat, whatever, if he doesn’t agree to date him… Logan punched him claws first in the head only by suggesting something like that.

Blind Al and Vanessa actually only told him to grow a pair and talk with Kurt instead of grunting like a beaten dog. Logan actually has been trying for a while to talk a bit more with Kurt but all their conversation were quite short as Kurt is always busy doing something for the church.

Laura awkwardly told him to offer a present, to which Yukio very much agreed that it would be a very sweet gesture, like a small token which would remind him of Logan, Negasonic, rolled her eyes in exasperation but Logan saw the grumpy teenager touch a bright pink wristband hiding under rougher black leather.

Of course, Peter also offered an advice, to purchase something more thoughtful, a present which would show the interest Logan had in Kurt, a romantic novel for example or a book of poems.

Dopinder told him to follows the fire of his heart and lavish Kurt with love songs and to fight for his honor, to be his knight in shining white armor!

What Logan actually did:

He dropped by the church a late evening when he knew Kurt was about to wrap up with his group session for “special people”.

He waited patiently by the door while Kurt gave farewells and a couple of last moment advances. Logan’s heart beating so fast in his chest that he was starting to consider the possibility to have a heart attack, at his +200 years old it could be a possibility.

Kurt face lighted up as he approached Logan, his usual merry smile on his face which made Logan give a small smile of his own in return.

When Kurt was close enough, Logan just shrugged and pointed with his thumb to the big wooden doors indicating the world outside the small church. “Do you wanna get a beer Elf or what?”

Definitely not what Logan had intended to say or at least not just like that but Kurt just laughed and nodded. “How could I possibly reject such a lovely invitation?”

Kurt: He’s the little spoon

Kurt can always say with all honesty that Logan likes to cuddle and to be the little spoon and people would laugh it off thinking he is joking

Some headcanons about how Logan and Kurt care for each other and their comfort

Logan:

Due to his heightened senses, Logan is actually very sensitive to sounds, smells and lights even when he has years and years of practice over those somedays they are still bad. Kurt’s bamfs come always with a sharp flash of light and the distinctive smell of brimstone smoke so Kurt always try to minimize his jumps when they are together.

Logan has had a rough life and some days he feels like he doesn’t deserve nice things, he feels like the monster inside him is going to break anything good he may have, in those days, Logan doesn’t stand to be touched. Kurt has learned to hover around him in those days, always 2 steps away, far enough to not touch but so close than Logan can still feel him.

More often than not Logan gets camps in his arms, to unleash his claws, Logan has to contract tightly the muscles in his forearms, because of the healing factor, there is not much damage but the sharp pin needle like pains just happens after a long fight or training. Kurt knows how to prepare natural calming salves and he normally massages Logan’s arms with those when they are unwinding together.

Kurt:

Kurt has PTSD as all of them, however even after everything, probably the most traumatic experience for him was the time he was caged at the circus. To be constantly drugged and brutalized. Kurt has mastered himself to not react but all his body internally crumbles when someone shouts at him or move too fast. Logan knows and always tries to keep it calm with the Elf. He would first go away than shout at Kurt if he can avoid it.

Kurt needs to touch people, he needs physical contact, he needs the reaffirmation of deserved humanity. Sometimes he needs it a bit tougher, to really really feel like the touch is reaching him. In those days, Logan will grab an arm across his chest, walk Kurt in front of him and just embrace him, hug him with enough open space for him to bolt out if needed but adding just the right pressure.

They all know Kurt is the one who gets the small tasks going, he is the one who makes sure all of the small inconveniences are taken care of so his family and friends can do the big heroic things. That mostly means, Kurt does all the paper work, due to his eyes, light changes can be very harsh on him. So Logan will dim the lights in the room, he will take the papers out of his hands and make sure he takes a nap or at least rest his eyes for a bit.

chris claremont ate up this one thing because like. yeah.. kurt is absolutely and undeniably dramatic. positively theatrical. like downright silly it is, the way his posture is intentionally jacked because he likes the way slouching casts shadow on his face. in my heart of hearts.. this is canon ✊🏼

Okey, so adding more information to one of my other posts! This one

Kurt backstory in my now headcanon and why he was not an X-Men in Deadpool and Wolverine:

• We know Kurt backstory as Szardos, he was raised by a Romani family back in Germany which was part of a traveling circus where he performed as the Amazing Nightcrawler, their trapeze artist. (That's canon, the rest is not and it's just my mind) I think for that universe, Kurt would have a similar childhood but this time he and his siblings all have a good relationship. Stephan didn’t hate Kurt and they actually were best friends so no jealousy fight and death of Stephan making Kurt run away and to be found by Charles.

• When there is a change in the circus direction and Kurt is taken from trapeze artist to main star as the freak from the show, he is also chained and caged and often mistreated without Margali or any or his siblings being able to do much more than to sneak some food at that moment.

• After a particularly nasty overdose of sedatives and a brutal beating from the new Ring Master which almost kills Kurt, Margali makes a pack with a demon to magnify her own magical abilities and to be able to free Kurt. The Szardos family took Kurt to holy ground in a near by abbey where they left him to "clean the mess" at the circus. (The Szardos family starts then with both Margali and Jimaine witchcraft some sort of mob business)

• Kurt keeps in touch with the abbey as he works the grounds to help repay the kindly help from the brothers. At the same time people starts to look at him and to point in his direction as the result of "diabolical Romani magic". Little by little people starts to fear him and to hate him as Stephan starts to use Kurt image to scare people off.

• After Margali ends up doing connections with the Hellfire Club she takes her 3 children to America where they can have a better life out of little minded folk. The mob business goes smoothly well in their new home and they have a comfortable life where Kurt goes back to feel caged and like the freak when it’s clear that his presence it’s only important to keep up the image of demonic magic her mother and sister have adopted. After quite a big argument Kurt leaves his family in order to do good honest work.

• Due to his looks it's not so easy so once more he goes back to seek god's help, he never had a problem in the abbey even when many brothers were wary from him. So he ends up finding a small church where they give him a place to stay and live in exchange for a bit of handy work and help with some of the groups for "special people" (aka mutants)

• As the people from the church gets to feel more comfortable with Kurt around, the priest starts to let Kurt help with other groups of people and that's how Kurt and Al end up meeting (Kurt at that time was in his mid 20s when they met for the first time)

Logan’s first impression:

Kurt was immediately attracted to Logan, there was something in there that sang to his own soul. Even if the man was short in his responses (he didn't know that Logan was actually shocked to see someone who in his own universe loved so much) and more than once completely rude to Kurt himself and to others. Kurt still laughed it off and actually invited Logan to join one of the veterans’ group therapy seasons.
