This is NOT what a fetus at this stage looks like whatsoever. This is just an exaggerated post made by conservative anti-choice people to bully women into birthing unwanted babies into an already grossly over populated world where foster homes and orphanages are already over-flowing just because of what their sensitivities are which their projecting onto other people. A fetus is not actually its own person until it no longer depends on the mothers body to exist. Until then it’s literally a parasite in the way it exists because it feeds off of and depends on her body to continue existing. It’s part of her body. So I don’t see it as “killing” a baby. I see it as her choosing to no longer provide it life support at the expense of her own body and life. And pregnancy takes a huge toll on a woman physically and mentally, not to mention it’s risky, and if she doesn’t want to go through that then it’s her body, her life and her choice and I think it’s disgusting that people try to shame, guilt and bully women into going against what’s most likely best for them and their quality of life just because their conservative and have a bias personal view on it. You don’t think abortion is okay? Then don’t ever get an abortion. Simple as that. Don’t try to use your opinions to force other people to go through something like that regarding their own body.

Hi! This actually isn’t an inaccurate representation (it is a bit more artisticly detailed with darker skin and facial features-), I’ll show you the proof, and tell you exactly how developed a child at this stage is.

This is Noah, his mother had a miscarriage at approximately 12 weeks and has shared this picture.

Noah would be able to open and close his fists and mouth. He has thinner skin and less facial detail but you can see toes, fingers, and size are all accurately represented. Really the only problem with this picture is skin deep. Only four weeks later (at 16 weeks) would a child’s skin be this dark, amazing right? Children are remarkably developed at 12 weeks, and if that knowledge causes emotion about killing them, that’s a good thing. It means you have empathy for this small human.

At 12 weeks, a child’s heart would be beating with a regular rhythm, and major organs are forming.

“Fingernails and toenails are beginning to develop and the external ears are formed. The beginnings of teeth are forming… By the end of the third month, baby is fully formed. All the organs and extremities are present and will continue to mature in order to become functional. The circulatory and urinary systems are working and the liver produces bile.”

This is 100% a human being that deserves the right to life and should be protected not killed.

It’s not just a little bit of an artistic touch. There’s a pretty notable difference. The left is what anti-choice people do to make women feel more guilty about their decisions regarding abortion. And even IF this were the case, it doesnt exactly invalidate any of the reasons why women should come befure fetuses.

The right to life does not imply a right to feed off of or risk someone else’s health/life to sustain life. We can’t make another person donate blood to someone even if it would save that person’s life of they dont want to. We can’t take organs from DEAD people that could save other people if they or their family didn’t consent to it. This should be no different. In fact, it’s even more serious because donating blood is a relatively painless safe and quick procedure. Pregnancy comes with perminant changes to the body, all sort of risks and complications. I mean shit, 50% of women back in the day died during childbirth. It’s painful, some women have to be sliced just to get the baby out safely. Some women don’t recover well after birth and lose sexual function or are in pain constantly. And forcing a person to go through that for 9 months is traumatizing to say the least. All because ya’ll care more about the potential life of a fetus than the women suffering right in front of you. Meanwhile our world is grossly overpopulated. The last thing we need to do is bully women to birth more unwanted children into the world only to not give two shits about them once they’re out. If men had the same experience of pregnancy as women there would be plan B in vending machines and abortion clinics on every block next to Starbucks. If you really gave a FUCK about children, you’d spend your time and money donating to foster homes and orphanages and maybe even adopt some kids yourself and be against the idea of forcing more children to be born into that.

But ya’ll just ignore all that and say shit like “but it looks like a person and has fingers! If you have sex then you have to have the baby, stop spreading your legs! (because you care more about using the child as a punishment for behavior you don’t like than actually caring about the child itself). Ya’ll can fuck off.

being visibly queer fuckin matters. don’t let anyone, esp. any straight people, but especially any queer ppl, tell you that you’re too visible, making a scene, that you shouldn’t wear your pride on your sleeve. this stuff matters; just about all of us are hurt one way or another, and you never know when your flag or your shirt or your pin is gonna be someone else’s lifeline.
