DiD you hear that HULU has apparently picked up In The Flesh and there might be a chance that theyll have a new season! Because I don't wanna get my hopes up but I hope sooooo !!
I HADN’T HEARD ABOUT THIS I JUST LOOKED INTO IT OMG THANK YOU FOR TELLING ME
So for my followers who wanna know the details, Hulu just picked up In the Flesh, which does not necessarily confirm that a new season is happening. All it means is that they’ve bought the show. That means it’s accessible through their site - I’m not 100% sure about the details of how to watch it because I’ve never used Hulu before lol.
Anyway, although that doesn’t necessarily mean a third season is confirmed, what it DOES mean is that In the Flesh is now in the hands of a company that has the ability to make a third season should they decide to, unlike BBC Three which made it very clear they would not be continuing the series largely due to huge budget cuts having to be made. This is entirely based on if they think it’s doable and if it will be a profitable move.
So here’s the good news:
1. Dom Mitchell (the creator of the show) wants to continue the show and has been talking about finding a way to for some time now, and the rest of the cast has said they’d be on board with it too.
2. In the Flesh is already hugely popular and has proven to have a strong fanbase, it won a BAFTA in 2014, has won many polls since then, and when it was cancelled it trended worldwide on Twitter, and continued to trend throughout the world for days after. The various petitions online asking for a third season got tens of thousands of signatures.
So this is GREAT news!! It’s really actually possible that after all this time we might get a third season!! Oh my god I can’t even believe it………………. I don’t wanna get my hopes up too much but wow….
