honestly "oracle that nobody believes" is such a solid trope. imagine trying to convince anybody in 2006 what the next two decades was gonna look like

does it mean a girl likes you if she builds a labyrinth around your house
Yes but in the way an entomologist likes a colorful beatle.
[nods] she wants to fuck it. bad.
Weird moment.
There's an unhoused woman who knocks on my door occasionally. She often asks to clean up my porch or yard in exchange for money, even though I usually don't have cash on-hand (especially since I've been unemployed for a while). But I do usually offer her water and some chips or something.
The other night, her, or another lady who has come by a couple times, knocked on my window at like 2am, and I just got mad and yelled out for them to go away.
Anyways, tonight she stopped by again, more reasonable time like 9pm. But I still kinda snapped at her; I just wasn't in the mood to deal with her tonight.
The way she huffed off, like a moody teenager. I felt bad. I try to be as polite to her as I can because I understand that she probably has a very hard life and likely isn't treated well very often. Even though she's just a strange drug addict that knocks on my door at random times, I feel bad that I added negativity to her night.
If you are having trouble catching that mouse, then perhaps it is not meant to be. Perhaps try something else? Maybe a cockroach, or a lizard. Mice do not taste that good, regardless. I recommend abandoning pursuit of mice altogether. Meow.
I get what the original post is going for, it’s cute and all, but it’s funny because smaller cats are way more efficient killers.

happy 10 years to wagon age oregons
The parking attendant paused by the double-length bay. Intended for mobile homes and cars with trailers, it was currently occupied by a sleeping dragon.
No parts of it extended beyond the lines, and the paper ticket was clearly displayed, impaled on a horn.
The parking attendant moved on.
I was going to just queue it for later but then it stuck in my brain, and I decided to make it everyone's problem

thinking about that one wordless calvin and hobbes sunday strip thats just calvins dad ditching his work to go play in the snow... its going to make me cry
ohhhh my god
”#I LOVE that the comic keeps the lens on Calvin’s dad to the degree of not even showing Calvin’s excited face when his dad surprises him, #You can see the joy and excitement of the moment in his pose and reflected in his dad’s expression, #it’s a great little artistic decision, #I realized what gets me about it it’s the hat covering his dad’s head and hair so the dad just looks like Calvin. #you don’t HAVE to show Calvin! You already see him in the dad becoming a kid for a moment you only have to draw that once”
