Went on a bit of a rabbithole today about the footage that appears on the stage-flanking screens during Welcome To the Black Parade (see below), and was very intrigued to discover that it all came from the 1934 film "Three Songs About Lenin" by Dziga Vertov.

Honestly I have no idea if he's in the movie because the moment I saw him clearly on the screens I went "Holy SHIT that's Vasily Blyukher!!!!???!!?" which is what set this whole thing off. Given his background (born a peasant) and his military proficiency (really quite good) it'd surprise me if he wasn't at Lenin's funeral though.
