Random headcanon- Mel’s got that brand of autism food sensitivity were she can’t stand mushy textures but for some reason has an insane spice tolerance. It absolutely floors Santos and Landon (who has average white guy tolerance) when she piles on the chilli every time they eat out but if an avocado is slightly discoloured she’s throwing it out.

Been getting really into Puccini operas lately and what I really like is the ones where the villain is a kind of guy who still exists nowadays because I just think. Oh. People are always people.

But like Pinkerton, guys like him still exist. He's the guy who wants to date Asian girls before settling down with a white wife. Literally, that's not even a joke. Or in the modern day he might be the 19 year old frat boy who thinks it's okay to flirt or worse with girls barely in high school, and groom and manipulate them into believing that he actually cares about them. Those kinds of guys still exist.

Or Scarpia with his hiding behind religion and wanting to break women.

People a hundred years ago had these kinds of problems, and the stories are still relatable and relevant. I really love them.
