Part of chapter 7 is done, but right now I am not working on it. It will return in the future. For now I'm happily working on other things.

I have posted the finished ch 7 pages on patreon and twitter, but in the interest of fairness I will post here too. The catch is this post will not be rebloggable ;)

Hey guys! Thank you for your patience. I wish I could have gotten this part out sooner but I ended up getting c*vid and that set me back a bit. I’m still pretty exhausted, but things are getting back to normal now.

Lots of emotions going on in this part huh? It was necessary for them to address some things before their relationship can begin to move forward, even if it hurts right now. They are still enemies after all and they did hate each other… but what now?

We made it to chapter 5!! Dib can’t help but be giddy over finally getting to study Zim. Starting in the latter half of the chapter things are gonna get bumpy. I can’t wait to start chapter 6! I’ve made some changes to my routine so I can focus on the comic more and it’s been going great so far. I apologize for this being so late. But I’ve been doing better lately, drawing more and more every day. I hope to have the next part out soon as possible!  I did decide to drop putting in lots of Irken text for the readers to translate… What’s fun for me isn’t always fun for other people and I can respect that. I’ll still put some in form time to time, but I’ll put in translations under a readmore.

The Last Irken Chapter 3: part one

Well we made it to chapter three! Honestly drawing this part was like pulling teeth… I did not want to draw those spaceships to the point that it physically hurt lmao. In full disclosure, I did trace a lot of them from the show. That’s not how I normally would do things, but this project is supposed to be a sketch comic that do in my spare time for fun, not a professional comic for profit.

Anyway this chapter is a bit boring, sorry for that. I needed one last chapter to finish the basic set up for this story. After part two the rest of the chapters will be more episodic. My plan is to focus on smaller stories where Zim and Dib get reacquainted and learn what it’s like to live with each other, eventually dealing with their own traumas together.

What exactly did Zim say in Irken language when he was looking at his bandages?

Here’s an irken alphabet chart for you! Maybe I’m just a terrible person but I think it’s so much more fun when you have to translate for yourself. XD At least it is for me. Tbh it’s not too hard to guess from the context of pages after that.

This is a mini comic that takes place very late into The Last Irken AU, but I had the idea in my head and wanted to do it now. As you can see this is inspired by the aquarium scene from Romeo and Juliet (or Panty & Stocking ;p ).

For some context, Dib was forced to go to an event for Professor Membrane and he’s not happy about it. He brings Zim because he knows it’ll piss off his dad and as expected they get into a fight. Meanwhile, Gaz and Zim are dancing while discussing Zim’s relationship with Dib. After a little while he gets frustrated and wanders off by himself.

At this point they’re both very aware of their feelings for each other, but have yet to confess. They still have some things to work out first.

Anyway this took all week *sobs* I’m so glad I’m done, hope you enjoy!

Yeah it’s just been a matter of not having time yet, but here you go. She hasn’t changed much

She does play a minor role in the comic, playing games online with Zim sometimes and visiting them at Dib’s apartment. If we get far enough into the story the three of them will go on a road trip together. :3
