starting w calixaki before the split in the zariman but
calixakiâs father is an emperor, left Vague bc we dont have a lot of lore abt it just yet, while his mom was an archimedian. unnamed bc im working on it still but. as Expected. she caught his eye. hes high ranking and Powerful and makes her one of his wives. (this has been in the Personal Lore for yrs so anything thats dropped from this update isnt smth ive looked into beyond the quest itself and some roathe convos so uhhh oop. excited to learn more orokin n sentient lore can we do grineer next. tyl regor mayhaps,,
ignoring the fact she was married to an unnamed soldier (still working on this) and had a daughter. also archimedian/ecologist. n heres where lian comes in (my wisp :D)
calixaki is born somewhere along the way, and lian takes a VERY active part in his life as much as shes able to, while he and his momâs life is. Not Great. being forced to marry an emperor be like that. but Mom n Older Sister did what they could. esp bc calix was. Very Much Weird Kid(neurodivergent). MAJOR interest in anything albrecht entrati related. very fascinated in the void from a young age. (super fun fact his father had so many children as spare yuvans. REALLY bad father but thats to be expected. calix isnt as familiar w his other half siblings until later, mostly just lian and she has a different father)
this is where we get a slight diversion, bc me and friends have our tenno all be involved in the story w eternalism explaining away some things ( @zephhhhhâs tenno eclipse being one of them, best friends + drifters are roommates)
@amnirifaelvâs operator n calix are childhood friends due to their mothers being friends/coworkers so they have a vv close sibling bond (there is tragic momyuri here too)
the EXACT moment where the Zariman becomes a plan isnt v clear, but despite being a âprinceâ or w/e youâd wanna call it, theres the whole. yuvan thing. so when the zariman became an option, lian, sariaâs mother (amnirifaelevâs op), yONTA (also yuri here bc i have freedom), and Mom all made a plan to get her + as many as the kids she could onto the zariman. even if they werent hers. at the risk of things going VERY horribly wrong if theyre caught. bc if they arent? maybe theyâll be safe. but we all know what happens. lian doesnt go, but saria + her mom do too
also sidenote before getting further in: calix RLLY wanted to be albrechtâs apprentice of some sort, but sorry buddy. its ok your other self did.
but yeah zariman happens, calix is a vv quiet kid who stays away from most of the other kids except for saria (basically his sister) AND. eclipse (whose rellâs best friend)
anthelia ( @hydroxycycloneâs operator) and eris (another friend) arent Present in calixâs life here but they will eventually.
friendship w eclipse atp is very,, subtle. two kids w the Albrecht Entrati Autism who share Everything entrati related w their own lil notes n everything in a silent entrati bookclub (bc they dont start Directly hanging out until much later/sometime during The Dream, w anthelia n eris coming in sometime after but the exact moment has yet to be implemented into the Lore)
cue. Shit Hitting The Fan. calix is. full moon besides ONE specific choice (the one at the end of tnw) and i have a lot i could say abt that but its a whole dif convo.
it hurt. it REALLY HURT. but calix did kill his mom. it was,, violent. grotesque. Extremely Traumatizing. he didnt want to. and anyone who couldnt? he did it for them. his own emotions about it Dont Matter.
and when he took the deal? n embraced everything? it was so he had power so nobody could hurt anyone he cared about again (but hes still a TERRIFIED child. and wally was his Friend. right?) ((this is where i say im also on a wally is Friend agenda. maybe not a GOOD one. but)

this is RLLY long already so im very sorry so anything between the Incident and the zariman being found is gnna be left out, and some TOP stuff bc im still chewing on it w my brain.
so zariman found. and margulis does her thing. except this is where things split w calix from the canon
ballas Knows who he is. and ballas can use him. and turns out? he has a *very* strong affinity for the void. ridiculously so,, suspiciously so. and hes interested in albrechtâs research thats been Published?
calix offers ideas, theories. all coming from a very childlike view of âthis COULD be done but whether or not its Right or Wrong isnt a concept hes fully developedâ and its ballas so. he aint gnna tell him. and he ends up involving calix in warframe research and he has a Heavy involvement on transference research regarding the tenno. his relationship w margulis isnt rlly,, as present. and he doesnt rlly *care*. bc she isnt his mom. his mom is Gone. he never rlly *had* a father tho. surely? this? is what its like? ballas seems Interested in what he has to say. he Talks to him, asks him to help! (ignoring a lot of it is experimentation calix happily consents to, the nature of which is kinda vague but it deepens his ALREADY strong connection to the void)
his ACTUAL father was emotionally n physically abusive towards him and his mother, or he just. ignored them entirely. ballas?? didnt do that. that MUST mean something. he?? loved margulis too?? surely this?? was what a father was?
and ballas noticed. and used it. kept calix loyal and willing to help by holding any sliver of Fatherly Affection over him. heâll play along. margulis even seems happy hes taking interest in caring about at least one of the tenno! he even *rewards* calixâs loyalty by letting him see lian again! (his relationship w lian is vv close, he ADORES his sister)
and. lian understands whats happening. but shes walking a VERY tightrope of playing to this executorâs will, and protecting her baby brother (and her presence in tau is agricultural based but this is still up in the air for how itll go bc this is incorporating some new ideas w TOP)
so between warframe and transference research, lottsa other lore. theres TOP. and adis. and lian is SO VERY HAPPY abt this. calix is so much happier w adis around too. more thoughts are being cooked abt this specifically but!! adis/operator!! even working on Cheek Kissies wip of this im just v slow at art.

so yeahh im ngl when i saw ballas Do That,, i was SO EXCITED. food just for me. calix was Happy. Dad Noticed Him. Dad Pleased??

ballas allows lian, bc Surely she knows her place. (lmao). this? no.
cue the quest mostly continuing as normal, w calix being a lil mopey abt the door bit. why isnt he allowed to hear this? normally ballas lets him in these conversations. why isnt he allowed this time?
and. then adis is gone.
heres where things REALLY diverge. instead of margulis when calix transferences out of uriel, its ballas. and lian. talking abt something. lian looks Mad. shes never Mad. calix cant place ballasâs expression *yet*. why would he do this? calix and adis never did anything wrong? why did ballas do this to them (calix was supportive of adis w the MARGULIS MUST DIE thing too, bc he n aki both are ride or die and hes DEEP in the gaslighting and manipulation ballas did to him atp so hes STRUGGLING w this being ballasâs plan.
this is the Newest lore and major retcon of the original idea, but. calix immediately runs up to lian and hugs her. looks at ballas from the classic âkid hiding behind safe adultâ pose. and he isnt sure what to say. and ballas,, not happy. and Surely, he was proven right. adis led calix astray (not true not true nOT TRUE cmon ballas this is the exact opposite of what youre trying to do. its gnna backfire. it DID backfire. literally. the academy is Burning)
but ballas,, believed calix needed to be punished. and the reason lian was here is bc his oRIGINAL plan was to make calix watch her be executed. for his disobedience. also not smart but we know how he can be
lian,, offered an alternative. cue wisp prime trailer inspo. she offered to,, become a warframe. bc she wants to protect her brother. and she cant do that if shes deaddead
soo ofc ballas makes calix be there and Help. (im putting some more time here, but this is a New concept im working thru, old version is based off rlly old oc lore from before tnw) and thats how. calix being a wisp main happens. and soon after ballas is the one who puts calix in the Dream (the whole memory wipe is also smth ballas does out of Control, not extremely misguided Affection like margulis. v likely done Multiple Times to keep calix leashed)
by the time the main story rolls around, calix actually latches onto the lotus a lot. not bc of tbe margulis stuff either. and by this time he actually has a vv good support group w his friends (anthelia n eris are present now)
bc at his core he is a Very Emotional boy even if he comes across as apathetic to some people. and i just. rlly love spacemom.
and now with ballas back in the story its,, complicated. bc he Understands the truth a lot more now than he did then, ESP now. but calix,, still loves him bc its COMPLICATED and he spent so long looking up to this man as his father.
and,, the sacrifice is. Interesting. bc he loses his second mom, *finally* reconciles that what he did in the past *wasnt* his fault per say, ballas was puppeteering him entirely. but he still wants to rectify what he did despite. being a traumatized child soldier used by one of the biggest shitbags in the origin system. and,, shockingly,, has not just one. but TWO actual dads now?? (ordis and umbra,,,)
