Ryuki said the world is gonna be his soon, and I believe him.

I think Cynthia got her Kommo-o from Ryuki, because he seems pretty interested in connecting with champions. And if he visited the Battle Tree, he would've not only met the legendary Cynthia, but Red and Green together.

I wonder also if that's a way for gameverse Kiawe to receive Turtonator? He may not be champion, but he is an aspiring firedancer. Apt for Ryuki to entrust Kiawe with a star-shelled turtle egg, as a gift for future success.

Anyways, here’s why I think Ryuki/Kiawe should be a thing

dragon bard x fire dancer

(complementary rpg classes)

both at a similar stage in life

(i.e. trying to kick start their careers but facing unlucky setbacks)

both got plans to travel

(volcanoes and dance school for Kiawe; music tours for Ryuki)

so their lifestyles can match up pretty easily!

tradition vs change

(as a shared literary conflict)

it’s cute how Marowak is a fan of Ryuki’s music

they’d never have to run up the heating bill for Gible hatchlings, bc of Kiawe’s Magmar and Talonflame with flame bodies

Kiawe has experience with dragons (Charizard, Salazzle, anipoke Turtonator)

Ryuki needs support and Kiawe is reverent and supportive

Kiawe has a lonely disposition and Ryuki fills a room with his presence

and they're the Sun & Moon characters most likely to show up in future games, as it’s still a mystery where Ryuki came from or where Kiawe’s going.

Underrated Ryuki trios

similar to Pasio trios, but not really

+ Ilima & Kiawe - Ryuki tends to befriend trainers with a stage presence (e.g Lisia and Roxie). So while in Alola he’d naturally be drawn to Ilima and Kiawe. They all do performance art so they’re basically kindred spirits.

+ Klara & Piers - there's a crack theory about Ryuki being a fake guitarist, evident as a) he only airguitars, b) his flower name means lie (but also truth and danger). Yes, game!Ryuki has fans, but it doesn’t falsify the theory. No one has truly witnessed Ryuki playing an instrument. He could be famed for showmanship alone, who knows? So to recap, we’ve got: Piers’s voiceless mic, Ryuki playing on nothing, and Klara sulkquitting her pop career too early. Top quality musicians, these three. A lovely mess.

+ Gordie & Nessa/Raihan - ok so I found it funny how Gordie’s glasses resemble the leader of the Squirtle Squad’s, and they’ve all got turtles on their teams. That’s really it

in like the late 18th to early 19th century Britian, “dandy” referred to men who paid a lot of attention to personal appearances. later on it referred to a handful of kinda playfully GNC artist guys, but I don’t think it’s ever been a universal term for all feminine men
