Great start for PlanDo

We are incredibly proud to announce that PlanDo recently made it onto the list of the top 3 most downloaded social apps in Hong Kong, behind only facebook and instagram!  Thank you to all of our loyal fans who made this possible, and all of the awesome events that you guys have been creating.  Thanks to you it is easier than ever to meet new people and try new things on PlanDo, and it will only get better as we grow, with more and more events for you all to choose from.  Your support and feedback has been amazing, and it has been awesome hanging out with you all at events. PlanDo at IT Fest 2015

Did you visit the PlanDo booth at the Hong Kong Digital Life Carnival 2015? Decorated with blue balloons and staffed with a passionate crew, it was here that the PlanDo application marked its official launch on Google Play.

Phillip Pun, founder of the application, highlighted that the event was a great opportunity to extend the network of potential partners, and acquire early users. “As we have just launched, this event is perfect for us to warm up and gain more exposure. It is truly rewarding to see that people like the concept and walk away with the application on their phones.“

Many are confident that there is a need for an application that allows users to instantaneously join activities and meet new people. “I believe that PlanDo has a very unique positioning in the market. It’s hard to tell how long it’s going to take, but I’m positive that PlanDo will be a great success overall,” added Jan Kokavec from the HKU Student Consulting Group.

Ryze Ultimate Trampoline Park

Ryze! Hong Kong’s latest fad, the ultimate trampoline park brings out the child in everyone. This weekend, I went in a group of 10 students to finally experience what everyone has been talking about. And I was not let down!

  First, the arena. The huuuge 7000 foot space contains over 40 interconnected trampolines. Lots and lots of space for bouncing around!

  And a little bit about my own experience, after quickly signing the waiver forms and getting ready for the bouncing dream (no jewelry, belts or zippers allowed), we were all set to go!  It takes time to get used to the feeling of constantly jumping from one place to another. But we quickly found out the daredevils among us. I even got to see one of my friends do a flip! 

  Unfortunately, within 10 minutes of our time starting, a friend injured her foot as she was trying to jump from one trampoline to another. The care and support from the Ryze team was amazing! They were very alert and efficient and soon got her on the side and propped her foot with ice. Soon we realized she could not take the pain and the team offered to call and ambulance and was super helpful! Cannot thank them enough! They even refunded all 10 of our tickets!

B: What are you talking about? I went for a baking class followed by a hike and then a masquerade ball. All this weekend!

The PlanDo App was created a lot like a delicious home-made cookie. 

First, We visited every single farms in the valley to hand-picked the best ingredients for our ideation!  (Activities + Meeting people + Exploring life) = awesome x2 !! 

Then, we contact the most talent creative artist in town. Draw on paper, handcraft wireframes....design, color, taste !! This is where science meet art !! Who then made the Product Wireframe, a base of what the app is going to be like. Followed by prototyping and and testing to ensure it is the best possible! 

Once we have the secret ingredient (idea) + receipt (design) right. We rush to build a happy prototype product.  This is where the masterchef (coder) come into play. They said they could drink up to 5 coffee a day !

We share the product with customer early and we note down their feedbacks. User experience is all we care at PlanDo.

Who is PlanDo?

PlanDo is a new application that give new meaning to the term “social networking”. PlanDo is a rethink of the real social connections between real people. We like to hangout with real people who have shared some common interests. 

PlanDo was founded by Philip Pun in Hong Kong. Pun holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Melbourne. Pun brings a wealth of experience to leading PlanDo from his background in computer programming, building IT infrastructures, and developing startup ventures.

Being Hong Kong-based will give the company proximity to key customers in the global Southeast regions, with plans to expand to the western world.
