Oh, man. This friend. This is a good friend.
A simple1-square piece of path decor from the Lantern Collection, it is GREAT for curves and bends in tightly curved queues. It pairs really nicely with the other two pieces of queue decor in this collection, and I often mix and match them depending on the queue itself. A great way to bump up your queue rating with comparatively little effort.
It’s on the Steam workshop under Thylacinian.
Proooobably one of my favourite pieces of queue decor.
It’s so pretty, I really wish I had a nighttime shot of it because it’s lovely. It’s great because it’s a little wider than default queue width, so you can use it on curves and serpentine style queues with great flexibility.
It’s part of the Lantern Collection, on the Steam workshop under Thylacinian.
Queue decor!!
This is a very simple 3 square long, enclosed, piece of path decor. Works best on very straight path sections, and although I haven’t tried it yet, I bet it looks pretty fab if you enlosed one end and put a shop in there.
It’s part of the Lantern Collection, and you can find it on the Steam Workshop under Thylacinian.
I LOVE THIS GUY. HE IS MY FAVOURITE.
I can put this shop almost anywhere. Anywhere. Swap out the interior for a smoothie bar or giftshop, change the outside signage and away you go.
So versatile. So easy to place. It needs a little bit of a sinking just to help it look flush, but it also looks great with elevated path railing imo, so you do you!
Seriously. So good. Once I get some ingame photos up you’ll see I have it EVERYWHERE. The best part is you can easily attach it to another building and make a pair and it still looks great!
I am very excited.
You can find it on the Steam workshop under Thylacinian.
I love this one because it’s a really funny little demonstration of how much your skill level changes in a short amount of time.
The top photo is the first one I uploaded to the workshop. After I played for a while, I came back and gave it a “polish” and - boom. 100x better with just a little extra detail.
This is just a simple little 1-slot shopfront. You can make it into a facility if you prefer but I think it’s best as a food shop. The flame effect is one of the periodic ones, so don’t worry it doesn’t go off constantly. I wish there was a toxic sludge node, I’d so rather use that over the flames BUT ANYWAY, you can change it out for your preferred atmosphere such as electricity or smoke/mist.
I wish I had a night time shot of this shop but nevermind. You can find it on the Steam workshop under Thylacinian!
A cute little shop duplex in my Lantern Collection. This building is an L-shape, so it’s pretty easy to place on path corners and junctions. I love having it near ride exits, since the guests almost always have a need to fill when exiting a ride and it’s often thirst-related.
Again, easily convertible to any other shop or facility type that your park may need, and nimble enough that you can place it in a ton of different locations and it will really enhance your park atmosphere.
You can find it on the Steam workshop under Thylacinian!
Another one from the Lantern Collection. An earlier build, but great for atmosphere.
This is a double sided 2-slot complex, plus ATM. It takes up about the same foot print as my wide boy from the miscellaneous collection, but has a bit more use. I personally like having this fellow near ride exits, as there’s a bathroom on one side and a souvenir stall on the other, but you can change out the contents for whatever shop or facility you need.
You can find it on the Steam workshop under Thylacinian.
So this is an oooolllddd build of mine, but pretty versatile. It will fit quite well in most themes that are Rustic, Western, Apocalypsey, type parks.
It does need to be sunk into the ground slightly thanks to the balcony type that was used for the decking, but it’s really quite versatile. It’s a small footprint about 2 squares long, and quite stout, so it fits well in corners and odd-shaped areas. The default is a toilet block, but you can change it out for literally anything and it will work great.
You can find it on the Steam workshop under Thylacinian.
So thiiis is sort of a queue shelter. It was going to be more open in design but, well, it’s a Nuclear Winter so I’m sure the guests will appreciate having a roof over their heads.
This lil guy is 3 squares long, looks great at night, and is a great candidate to double in your Western and Halloween themed parks.
I am dying to make the Sleepy Hollow bridge with this, not gonna lie.
You could easily also enclose one section and make it a bathroom or other shop/facility. I recommend sandstone wall for that, but the choice is yours!
You can find this lil friend on the Steam workshop under Thylacinian.
Here we have a single shop front, Nuclear Winter/Post-Apocalypse themed shop. Again, super versatile, designed to be slipped in along the side of the path to help alleviate congestion and add some theme to your park.
This one is probably the easiest to convert to an ATM but honestly, you could make it practically anything.
I’m going to do a brick version soon, with a watchtower attached. In the mean time, please enjoy this lil milkshake dude, and his two chimneys that puff smoke leisurely.
You can find it on the Steam workshop under Thylacinian.
Ok, this one’s my favourite so far. No surprises, this is part of the Nuclear Winter collection - but you can probably slide it into a Western park with very little trouble.
This blueprint has 2 shop slots, for all your shop and facility needs. This was a more recent build of mine, and has a few more SFX/Animatronics than earlier builds lol. The chimney stack will puff, the cables spark, and everything is overseen by a guard who you can easily make a pirate if you really wanted.
I haven’t had the chance to play-test this guy yet but from what I have been able to test, the pathing works pretty well. Enjoy!
It’s on the Steam workshop under Thylacinian.
So this is one of the first ones I made in my current park, and it’s quite a neat little complex. I call this .. uh. The. Lantern Collection. Yep. The Lantern Collection.
What we have here is what I would consider a small to medium sized complex. It has 3 shop/facility slots plus the ATM. It can be accessed from one or several sides, that’s all up to you.
I do highly recommend using pathing-on-grid to initially connect the shops by path, or you’ll end up with some weird looking navigation. Once all your shops are connected (it’ll look like a square shaped U if you move the building away), then marry it to the actual park pathing. It’s a bit tricky if you’re not familiar with doing it this way, but it works and is definitely your best option. I really wish pathing was included on blueprints sometimes.
It’s just so pretty to look at at night. Sigh.
You can find it on the Steam workshop under Thylacinian.
Eyyyy,Pipshot! This drink stall type is so popular??
So here we have one of quite a few single-slot shops that are part of my Nuclear Winter collection. It looks great in game once you get some themed decor around it, but you should find it pretty easy to place anyways. I’ve already gone back in-game and tweaked it a bit lol, it may be re-uploaded to the workshop in the future.
You can find it on the Steam workshop under Thylacinian.
The next part of the Nuclear Winter collection. This is part of a theme centered around Post-Apocalypse, rustic, rebuild-the-world type themes.
It’s also an earlier build of mine, but it came out nicely asymmetrical and I’m pretty pleased. The interior is quite wide, you should be able to fit about a 6 metre path through it, iirc. There’s a single slot for a facility in it too, which at the moment is a bathroom but you could make it an information booth or similar, quite easily.
I’ll probably go back and tidy this one up some time next month, it could do with a little bit of tweaking still, but overall I’m pretty darn happy with it.
As always, it’s on the Steam workshop under Thylacinian.
Another single shop, this time in brick, to round out the Nuclear Winter collection. Easily convertible to Pirate and Western styles, swap out the animatronic/foliage and away you go!
You can find it on the Steam workshop under Thylacinian.
This is another fellow from the Fairytale collection.
It’s got 3 sides, 4 shop/facility slots, which are easily convertible and adjustable. The pathing might be a little fickle, but if you’re ok with guests clipping the arch then I wouldn’t worry too much tbh.
This one was actually a lot of fun to put together, a nice chance to play with a different shape. I don’t normally go for something with 3 accessible sides, I find it gets fiddly and a bit shitty to place, especially with Planet Coaster’s pathing AI. But hey, if you use it in game, send me pictures!
This building is pretty adjustable. You can always pull one of the side facilities and replace it with something else, or remove it entirely.
You can find it on the Steam workshop under Thylacinian!
