LOKI THEORY (spoiler alert if you haven’t seen the movie)
Let’s talk about Loki confronting Thanos shall we.
First off, the dagger Loki uses to try and stab Thanos isn’t the same one he had in Ragnarok. See the nice fancy dagger below? Yeah it’s not the same one in infinity war.
This is the dagger in infinity war:
Very different. Oh wait, we have seen this kind of dagger before. Where? In Thor:The Dark World of course. Here it is:
Kind of similar right? And what does Loki do with that dagger? He fake stabs Thor and slices his hand to fool Malekith.
Secondly, Loki was not very fond of his Jotun form, we know that. He rarely calls himself the ‘Loki of Jotunheim’. It’s mostly always 'Loki of Asgard’. But he does it twice in the movies. He introduces himself as 'Loki from Jotunheim’ when he is trying to fool Malekith and he says 'Rightful king of Jotunheim’ to Thanos. Loki only uses the Jotunheim line with enemies.
Lastly, consider Loki words: 'I, Loki.Prince of Asgard.Odinson.The rightful king of Jotunheim.God of mischief.Do hereby pledge to you my undying fidelity.’ Here when he says 'Odinson’, he trys to tell Thor, that he will always be his brother, no matter the scenario. And when Loki says 'Rightful king of Jotunheim’ he wants Thor to remember what happened the last time he said that. In front of Malekith. He wants Thor to remember his fake death. But Thor, sweet baby is too distraught to think straight and is convinced Loki had died again.
We all know Thor always falls for that.
Also, the 'God of Mischief’ and the 'You will never be a God’ line he says to Thanos. Thanos maybe strong as hell, but he’s not a God. Not a god like Loki and Thor. That God line sure opens up a lot of speculation about Loki’s death I think.
So yeah. Here is my theory. I’m probably reading too much into it, but hey, it’s something to think of till Avengers 4. Maybe Loki pulled a fake death again. Or the Russos just offed him abruptly. Whatever, one can hope anyway.

Him.
She hadn’t seen him since the day he left. Since the day he took off for his new globetrotting career; leaving her utterly heart broken. Looking over the bar she couldn’t quite believe her eyes. That couldn’t be him, could it? After the day she had she definitely didn’t need this.
But to her amazement there he was sitting across the room with two women. One of whom his bittersweet elderly grandmother, however, the other she recognised but couldn’t name. Laughing and drinking, his auburn hair was still so routinely styled yet his matching ginger beard was looking longer and shabbier in the 12 months he had been gone. Other than shoulders much broader than before there was no question. It was him.
Surely he would’ve at least mentioned being back in the country let alone coming back to the one place he was so eager to leave behind. A mixture of feelings hit her at once - The anger of being so suddenly disregarded, the hurt of being left by the one person who understood her the most but yet the complete joy that he was right here, right now. She couldn’t help but stare, she knew she was looking for far too long. Her heart nearly leapt out of her chest when he looked up, his pistachio green eyes staring right back into hers. They shared the same bewildered daze which caused the butterflies in her stomach to go crazy; she could already feel the tears forming in her eyes.
Unsure of what to do she promptly stood from the bar stool she was perched on and as fast as her legs could carry her, headed towards the exit. The cold air brushing against her naked arms instantly calmed her. Leaning back against the damp brick wall she felt as if her head was going to explode. She took a deep breath in, vastly blinking back the tears as they threatened to escape from her eyelids. She needed a minute. Just as she felt she was beginning to regain her composure, she took one last deep breath in and tucked her long brown curls behind her ears. She turned to go back inside when she clocked him stood in the doorway; her breath catching in her throat.
A Letter to Myself.
Dear 2017 me,
I am so proud of you. I feel like a totally different person to the who I was at the start of 2017. 2018 is the year of further change and it starts here. This year you need to remember these things...
Do things for you not for the sake of anyone else. Put yourself first for a change, don’t put other peoples needs before your own.
You’re stronger than you think. If you want something then go for it, take a risk. You don’t know things won’t work unless you try them first. Live a little.
Don’t let anyone put you down again; Why let someone else make you feel worthless when you know you can thrive on your own? You’re a beautiful person inside and out so don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! Eleanor Roosevelt said ‘No one can make you feel inferior without your consent’.
Be you, do you. Do whatever it is that makes you happy. Positive vibes for 2018.
At age 23, Tina Fey was working at a YMCA. At age 23, Oprah was fired from her first reporting job. At age 24, Stephen King was working as a janitor and living in a trailer.
At age 27, Vincent Van Gogh failed as a missionary and decided to go to art school. At age 28, J.K. Rowling was a suicidal single parent living on welfare.
At age 28, Wayne Coyne ( from The Flaming Lips) was a fry cook. At age 30, Harrison Ford was a carpenter. At age 30, Martha Stewart was a stockbroker. At age 37, Ang Lee was a stay-at-home-dad working odd jobs. Julia Child released her first cookbook at age 39, and got her own cooking show at age 51. Vera Wang failed to make the Olympic figure skating team, didn’t get the Editor-in-Chief position at Vogue, and designed her first dress at age 40. Stan Lee didn’t release his first big comic book until he was 40. Alan Rickman gave up his graphic design career to pursue acting at age 42. Samuel L. Jackson didn’t get his first movie role until he was 46.
Morgan Freeman landed his first movie role at age 52. Kathryn Bigelow only reached international success when she made The Hurt Locker at age 57. Grandma Moses didn’t begin her painting career until age 76. Louise Bourgeois didn’t become a famous artist until she was 78. Whatever your dream is, it is not too late to achieve it. You aren’t a failure because you haven’t found fame and fortune by the age of 21. Hell, it’s okay if you don’t even know what your dream is yet. Even if you’re flipping burgers, waiting tables or answering phones today, you never know where you’ll end up tomorrow. Never tell yourself you’re too old to make it.
Never tell yourself you missed your chance.
Never tell yourself that you aren’t good enough.
You can do it. Whatever it is.
This is so worth reblogging!
Thank you!
