top five most important things you can give a character. 1. bisexuality. 2. autism. 3. so much negative rizz it loops around into irresistibility. 4. so many bad events. 5. a coping mechanism that’s cute and silly provided you don’t think about it too hard

I took my little brother (autistic, mostly non verbal) out and he was using his voice keyboard to tell me something, and this little boy (maybe 4 or 5?) heard him and asked me "Is he a robot??" I tried to explain to him that no, he isn't a robot, he just communicates differently, but my darling brother was in the background max volume "I am robot I am robot I am robot I am robot"

the reveal that belinda had been a mother the whole time, but the viewer just wasn't in on it, could have been better handled. like, we could have been told that belinda was a mother (but not to poppy), or told that there was a poppy but not who she was necessarily. that coupled with the fact that we really haven't had much time to get to know belinda or had much belinda-centric content this series makes me feel like she's been a bit of a wasted character
(though i don't agree with the criticism that making her a mother at all was a problem - a fictional woman wanting to be a mother or being a mother isn't actually unfeminist? the problem was that it wasn't previously a part of her character and felt a bit jarring tacked on at the end like that)
Loving Vincent (2017) | dir. Dorota Kobiela, Hugh Welchman
The film brings the paintings of Vincent van Gogh to life to tell his remarkable story. Every one of the 65,000 frames of the film is an oil-painting hand-painted by 125 professional oil-painters who travelled from all across the world to the Loving Vincent studios in Poland and Greece to be a part of the production.
