You need an exam to determine whether you’re eligible to drive, but no exam to check whether you’re eligible to have kids

2. When I rule the world
Abortions will be free. Even if it wasn't rape. Even if it wasn't incest. Even if the mother's life isn't at risk.
Classes and resources on contraception and explicit consent are freely available.
After X amount of weeks gestation, there would be penalties for non-medical related abortions.
Opportunities to disclose non-consensual factors, such as domestic abuse or trafficking, are frequently given and resources discreetly made available.
For the microscopic fraction who deliberately misuse abortions as birth control, the cost of abortion will rise exponentially. Optional sterilisation may be offered, but never forced.
Nobody would ever be forced to bring life into the world against their will.

All packaging will be recyclable or biodegradable. Single-use be damned. Refuse-sorting jobs would reduce the unemployment rate. Salaries are partially funded by penalties from repeat offenders of mis-/non-sorting.
Shit's fucked, man
As far as societies go, I know I'm in a decent one. I acknowledge I am in a fortunate position to even be able to critisise my government. My basic needs are met, as are many of the non-essentials often taken for granted. Fundamentally, Western society is effective, but arguably flawed. I often joke with my friends that "when I rule the world", things will be different. Given the ongoing fuckery of current affairs, I've decided to keep a record of such ramblings. I doubt (m)any will see these, but to those who do, please feel free to respectfully make your points (dis/agreeing or otherwise) in the replies/reblogs.
And with that, I introduce my theoretical manifesto in a series tagged #wirtw
