So that you have an idea of what to expect at future NJ Vegfests, we're recapping our experience at the Atlantic City Vegan Food Festival. I

In the meantime, we thought this was a great opportunity to share two books that we’ve found ourselves going back to during this early time in Plant Basting’s life.

🔝 Top: Advertising Secrets of the Written Word by Joseph Sugarman is a pretty expensive book to get your hands on, but it’s laden with details about how ads are constructed. Sugarman does not come to play in matters of the written word.

Bottom: The Startup Owner's Manual is a book every small, and large, business owner should have. A tried and true book of clear steps and lessons for any business venture. It’s not a book that needs to be read all at once so ignore the size. It’s more a manual for you to refer to when things get foggy 🌫 😶‍🌫️

👉🏽 For anyone who can’t shell out money right now, there is a pdf version of The Startup Owner’s Manual. Just Google, “startup owners manual pdf”. It should be the first result, but if you can’t find it dm us and we’ll send you the link.

Believing in food is easy, but we can admit believing in yourself can be challenging at times. At Plant Basting, we believe in food and the people behind it!

One of our main focuses is to bring awareness and funnel resources to underrepresented plant based/vegan business owners who deserve it. Because running a business can be difficult, even when equipped with all the belief you can muster. We’ve loved highlighting local businesses and what makes them unique recently! Expect more content like that, along with helpful info for entrepreneurs and business owners in the plant based/vegan space!
