Missing Memories from Guild Wars 2 ~ Things that could have been, things that haven’t been seen.
Day 3. Playtime In his rare freetime Trahearne used to play with the three kittens who took up residence in Fort Trinity.
Hello there guys, I’m finally posting my entries for the inktober2018! I’m following my own prompt “”””list”””” (where list means I wrote down a bunch of random ideas…. feel free to suggest me other missing moments we have not seen or that could have been in GW2!)
I started drawing this MONTHS ago and just kept coming back to it and leaving it again for later. My watcher, concept loosely based around 10 of swords tarot cards. Time to get nuked by tumbler due to Artistic Nudity ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A Noble Guild Wars 2 Redesign
In the same week that Ozzie redrew the GW2 Halloween outfit, Icy decided to take out one of her pet peeves by redrawing one of the Noble outfits from the game.
I just want more ladies in suits; why is that so hard? Besides that, when I saw this dress and noticed that she’s, like, 13 heads tall, I just had to fix it. I started by redlining the original to figure out how tall she was actually supposed to be.
[Informercial Voice: “Look at the difference!!]
After that, what I ended up doing was basically copy the dapper noble man outfit. It was a pretty simple redesign, besides having to figure out how to get that frigging vest to look good. I also fixed her hair just a bit.
Even though I wasn’t designing the new outfit, it was still fun to work on this, and I think it looks good. I get that GW2 is another semi-industrial fantasy world (but with a race of robot-builder scientists… sure), but that dress was just hideous, in my opinion. Anyway, enjoy a lady in a suit.

Here is the art I contributed to Tyrian Tarot made by @gw2collective and @guildwars2! Glint, Aurene and Jormag. Tons of amazing artists, artworks and ideas. I’m so glad I can finally share them. Thank you so much again for having me in such grand project 💙
Ascalon - The Black Citadel - The Command Core Iron Legionnaire: You hear about the battle at Smokestead? They say it was nearly a rout out there. Iron Legion Soldier: Yeah, more than one warband got smashed. But it had its share of heroes, too! Iron Legionnaire: True. I did hear about one warband. Also, Tribune Brimstone went up against Barradin himself! Iron Legion Soldier: Wish I coulda been there. Seeing that’d almost be worth getting killed for.
Yay, I can finally post these here!
I had the amazing opportunity to work on @gw2collective‘s Tyian Tarot project and I had so much fun creating these two cards. As you all may know, I am a huge Norn fan, so you bet I was gonna snag some related-topics for my two cards.
Here we have the main four Spirits of the Wild as the Hierophant, and Jora as a Wild card. (Pretty wild, amirite?)
I hope you guys like my contribution, because I am deeply proud of them myself. :)

Tyrian Tarot illustration 1/3 - 7 of Wands
Shipping of Tyrian Tarot is almost concluded (just a few boxes dozen to go) and we’re finally allowed to show these. It’s been an absolute nightmare, but also one of the best things to happen to me this year, a total blast and incredible honor.
Organized by the GW2 Artist Collective and the ever-amazing Melanie Sayre / Zorav, The Tyrian Tarot was the surprise success story, and although some unforeseen production pains happen to it, the final product is the single best and most professional fan project I’ve ever seen and one of the highest quality items in my gaming memorabilia collection.
7 of Wands - Defiance, conviction
Pyre Fierceshot, charr ranger and renegade. 7 of Wands symbolises rebellion, firing the first shot, taking a stand. While Pyre was not the first to rise against the Flame legion, he was the first rebel to succeed and make a dent in the shaman caste system. While the successful defeat of the Flame fell to his grandcub Kalla, her victory was built on his shoulders.
Pyre was a challenge to adapt, since his in-game models are only known from Guild Wars 1, where charr anatomy is… wonky at best. I had to make some changes, including dropping the weirdo spike things GW1 charr had all over the place (because back when charr were the evil enemy race, more spikes meant more metal or something). I kept the overal leonine snout, somewhat blocky, sharp features and jawline (although I’m pretty sure that was mostly engine limitation) and the beard.
I never actually played GW1 that much (I got stuck in Borlis Pass, since you either need friends or a particular build, and I have neither), so there’s no human caped crusader of mine who’d have history of helping Pyre free his charr brothers (no sisters back then, because… again, GW1 charr). And while his storyline made me roll my eyes at Gwen Thackeray a lot (seriously, does she have *any* dialogue that doesn’t go “And btw I hate charr” with every sentence? Like… lady, we get it, chill), It was pretty fun to watch and layed interesting foundations for what later became Guild Wars 2.
It’s finally time to share the pieces we’ve made for @gw2collective‘s Tyrian Tarot! It was such a beautiful project and great to be a part of along with so many amazing artists.
Here’s the first of my two cards: Laranthir of the Wild, as the diligent and responsible Knight of Pentacles.

Thank you sooo much for your support! I had so much fun with these two!

Roller Beetle racing is coming (very) soon
Starting tomorrow, you can take your beetle to the races–five new permanent tracks are coming to Tyria!
Tropic Valley Raceway begins near Proxemics Lab Waypoint and runs all around the edges of Brisban Wildlands. You’ll need both speed and stamina to make it to the finish line. (Moderator’s note: Watch out for the many roots.)
Ghostfire Run starts near Nageling Waypoint. It’s a pleasant jaunt across Diessa Plateau, with challenging twists and jumps through fields, farms, and haunted ruins. (Moderator’s note: This one is very pretty, but it seems rude to do tricks in haunted places.)
Jormag’s Fang kicks off just south of Torstvedt Homestead Waypoint in Snowden Drifts. It doesn’t take long to complete a lap around this course…as long as you can handle the sharp turns with razor-fine precision. (Moderator’s note: I was not allowed to name this one “Jormag’s Hangnail.”)
Lakeside Loop starts near Provern Shore Waypoint in Gendarran Fields and winds along the shores of Lake Gendarr. Skim over the water at high speed if you don’t want to get soaked. (Moderator’s note: Centaurs suck.)
Infernal Leap begins on the shore below Avernan Waypoint in Mount Maelstrom. This course will lead you on a treacherous path straight into the heart of the volcano, and you’ll need to pull off a daring lava leap to make it out the other side. (Moderator’s note: It is very hard not to hit the outcropping where the vista is, both mechanically and because it looks sick if you bounce off it.)
If you don’t have a roller beetle, you can rent one at the racetrack!
Keen rewards
Competing in races earns you Racing Medallions, which you can exchange for endless transformation tonics, racing gear, and a mini roller beetle. Dailies are available for a limited time so you can stock up on medallions.
