I won’t be posting Monday December 17 to protest the imposition of censorship on Tumblr
this was a good thread i saw about how of course this is all more trash coming down from the total shit that is sesta/fosta
Oh how the times have changed
@staff You absolute fucking hypocrites.
Everyone going shopping on Black Friday, be aware of three things:
The retail workers are working 12 hours shifts. We are threatened with losing our jobs if we don’t show up unless we’re dying in the hospital. I had an assistant manager show up with fucking strep because he would’ve been fired otherwise. Yes, he did infect 7 and hospitalize 2 coworkers; who knows how many members of the public he infected.
The stores have, maybe, 5 of that special cheap thing you’re after. Corporate does this on purpose, and stores are not allowed to order enough. The prices aren’t even that much lower. They lie about how expensive something is to fool you into thinking you’re getting a discount. You aren’t.
Most of the workers you will come across will be new hires for the sole purpose of being bodies for about three months before they’re fired. They actually don’t know anything because they’ve been working there for maybe two weeks, and have had no real training. I was once hired at Staples a week before Black Friday and expected to know how to deal with phones, coupons, the online ordering site, and AS400 after five 6-hour shifts. This is the kind of person you will likely be dealing with at Black Friday.
Do me and my retail family a favor and don’t shop Black Friday. Any company that needs a sale day like Black Friday to get their sales out of the red doesn’t deserve to be in business.
This also goes for anyone that works shipment too. We’re suddenly expected to stay as late as they want you to even if they know you don’t have a car and rely on a ride to get you to and from work and know you can’t stay late. Shipment workers will suddenly start getting berated for not getting things done and it is by far the most stressful time to be a shipment worker for any store. Especially when they throw in new hires that don’t know how to process things and are expected to work at the same pace as the people that have worked there for a while.
Retail is shit around the holidays, especially Black Friday
ok fellow millenials, it’s time to kill black friday
LET’S KILL BLACK FRIDAY
ABSOLUTE WARNING, REBLOG THIS ASAP.
this is a bit of an emergency BAD NEWS AHEAD If you use Tumblr, backup your stuff right now and make a post redirecting your followers to another account, Twitter or something like that Apple removed Tumblr from the App Store because their porn bot problem got too big, and they don’t allow explicit NSFW apps Tumblr, like the galaxy-brained geniuses they are, are going on a spree and deleting lots of NSFW blogs Even famous artists like cutesexyrobots and eigaka got their blogs purged, so ACT QUICK
@eemamminy
Blogs arent getting deleted on purpose and yall need to stop starting mass panick literally right now cause its annoying
So hey. Try spreading this to your purged friends.
Tell them to contact tumblr.
And get their blogs back.
hey friends!! if you get a message similar to this one—about someone talking shit on a blog called exposingthelosers.tumblr—IGNORE IT!!!
it’s spam
the link takes you to a pretty convincing tumblr login page……but it’s fake. the url isn’t tumblr’s main but rather that blog. so don’t put in your information, just block and/or ignore
I just received a message exactly like this. Word by word but from a different user. Glad I didn’t clicked on the link. I always get cautious about these stuff since it could be a vírus u.u

@scientificpokedex possible or anime?
Good question! There are definitely animals that can run on water! Check out the speedy basilisk:
These little guys are able to run on water for three reasons: they’re fast (8.4 km/h or 5.2 mph), they have big feet, and they don’t weigh very much (only 200 grams / 0.5 pounds).
Newton’s third law states that every force generates an equal and opposite force. When you push something, it pushes back at you. This is the lizard’s secret: When it runs, it “slaps” the water, which causes the water to push back for a brief moment of time. Just enough time to switch to the other foot and slap the water with that, and so on. Because the feet are large, they can generate more force with each slap (and trap air bubbles beneath their feet which helps). As long as the lizard can give a force greater than how much it weighs, it won’t fall through the water and will be running on top of it.
For a human weight and foot size, the numbers are a little different. A human would need to run at 30 meters per second (67 mph / 108 kmh). (Derivation here). Usain Bolt’s record is 10.4 m/s. The human body simply can’t generate energy fast enough to run that fast.
So Bewear? At 6'11" (2.1 m) tall and weighing it at 297.6 lbs. (135.0 kg), it’s fairly comparable to a human. So to see if this is possible, we just need to figure out how fast Bewear is running. If Bewear is faster than 30 meters a second, then it’s plausible it could run on water! (But that has other implications that I’ll talk about if it is faster than that). So let’s analyze this gif!
Bewear goes from here:
To here:
in 0.21 seconds. Using the height of Bewear (2.1 meters) to determine the distance scale, Bewear runs just under one and a half Bewear-lengths, which works out to be 3.04 meters, looking something like this:
In the gif, Bewear runs 3.04 meters in 0.21 seconds, or a speed of 14.5 m/s.
That beats Usain Bolt, but not fast enough for running on water. Sorry!
TLDR: Anime.
this is iconic
This shit is so hilarious

Top 12 alternatives to Photoshop for digital painters and illustrators
Hello there!
Yes, we haven’t done this in a while… but our inbox and chat are swamped with questions on the subject, so this article was very much needed.
it’s a simple list of art apps, but we know you love those :D
Enough with the intro, here it is, a list of twelve art apps you may want to check out.
ArtRage is an art program for beginners and professionals. With its minimal interface, it’s easy to keep the essential tools at hand without stealing space from the canvas. Panels can be moved around and tools can be customised. We all know how important it is for digital artists to be able to modify brushes!
Pros: easy to use; friendly interface; essential tools from professional apps available; available for iOS, Android, Windows and Mac
Cons: it may get sluggish with big files and when using big brushes, but performances also depend on the running machine; limited selection of editing tools if compared to Photoshop - ArtRage is more of a painting program rather than an editing one.
Paid
ArtRage Lite is a different version at a cheaper price, mostly for beginners, but also for professionals if they need the essential.
Now free, Sketchbook is the famous app created by Autodesk for various platforms.
Pros: clean, friendly interface; easy to use; professional features
Cons: lack of official tutorials; doesn’t offer as many tools as other apps (it’s down to the essential); paid subscription in Adobe style for multiple licenses
Free and paid
Black Ink is a powerful little program few actually know, but there’s a reason: this isn’t your classing drawing app. What’s cool about it is the vast selection of special brushes, completely non-realistic, and definitely able to boost your creativity.
Pros: vast selection of customisable brushes; excellent performance
Cons: not very easy to use; non-intuitive interface
Paid
This is probably the most complete software for painting, drawing and animation. It was originally known as Manga Studio, but with its updates and addition of features, it became Clip Studio Paint.
This doesn’t say much about the quality of the features themselves considering the affordable price (if you haven’t used the app yet, that is), but among graphic apps, this one is the top seller.
Pros: professional features for illustrators; layout tools for comic/manga artists; 3D reference models; customisable tools; various sales with special prices
Cons: the interface may not appear intuitive at first; the program may lag (again, performance also depends on the running machine)
Paid
GIMP is the famous open source image editor originally created for GNU/Linux and available for OS X and Windows.
Best known as Photoshop’s main competition, this is a manipulation program for both beginners and professionals who love design.
It offers many professional features, making the program a powerful tool.
Pros: professional editing tools; supports different formats; supported by different platforms; active community
Cons: in spite of the simple design, many options are hidden and it takes time to discover all the features; slow startup
Free
Krita is an open source painting app created by artists for artists.
Pros: easy to use; intuitive interface; great brush workflow; brush stabilizer; customisable brushes; general good performance; very enthusiastic, although small, community
Cons: it may be slow or even crash depending on the running computer and the app’s version; very few editing tools compared to Photoshop
Free
MediBang Paint is a free and light app for drawing and painting, perfect for manga and comic creation.
Pros: vast selection of brushes; cloud sharing; friendly, minimal interface (non-desktop app); also available for iPad, iPhone and Android
Cons: requires an account to use all features; non-intuitive interface (desktop version)
Free
Mischief is a sketching app with essential tools, useful for brainstorming and ideation.
Pros: infinite drawing canvas; friendly interface; easy to use; cheap pro version
Cons: few updates; offers only the essential (but that’s the point); no editing/adjustment tools
Free and paid
Corel’s jewel, Painter is the most famous software that offers digital tools able to give a traditional feel to brushes and canvas.
Pros: different selection of media; many professional features; PS-friendly
Cons: certain brushes may work slow; not easy to use at first; the software may crash (this is the most common report); pricey
Paid
Paintstorm Studio is a professional software for digital painting. It’s focused on the use of brushes and blending, which makes the software a little gem in the digital painting field.
Pros: good brush workflow; brush stabilizer; “close gap” feature; customisable interface and tools; professional features; affordable price
Cons: non-intuitive interface (desktop version)
Paid
Procreate is the powerful drawing app for iOS.
With the very sensitive Apple Pencil, Procreate is so easy to use that many artists chose the iPad over the most famous graphic tablets.
Pros: friendly interface; makes it easy to organise files; excellent brush workflow; customisable brushes; video recording; affordable price
Cons: hidden features; only available for iPad
Paid
SAI is a simple app for artists who want to focus on painting and drawing.
It’s well known for its good pressure support and its essential tools for manga artists, but SAI can be used by any kind of artist who wants to paint.
Pros: easy to use; friendly interface; light software; customisable brushes; tons of (non-official) tutorials
Cons: limited selection of tools, even basic ones; limited canvas sizes and uses; it might crash from intensive work, especially with big canvases and brushes; supports only RGB colour mode; lack of support
Paid
We hope you’ll find this list useful.
If you think there are other apps that should have made this list, don’t hesitate to let us know!
Thank you and peace out,
G&M

can this boy get any cuter
I can’t believe @lythero is Tumblr famous now too.
Hey, just so you know, the guy behind the pixie and brutus comics is a tr**p supporter
this is the worst news ive got in weeks
The artist’s name is Ben Hed and yeppp pro-trump.
HEY THATS ME
so the issue is wat exactly?
Trump, as I know you know, is trying his damnedest to take away a lot of people’s civil and human rights. His supporters necessarily support this -either because they actively hate us, or because whatever “non hateful” reason they have to support Trump is more important to them than the fact he is, as I said, trying to take away a lot of people’s rights. So, when we see that we’ve been sharing the work of a Trump supporter, we want to know about it so we can stop. We don’t want to contribute to Trump supporters getting attention or getting paid for their art, no matter what the art consists of, because the person who made it either wants us dead/deported/fired or kicked out of our house for being trans/etc, or doesn’t care that they’re helping that shit happen. (And the distinction between those two things matters a lot less than you likely think.)
I just messaged the artist on his Instagram. This is NOT him.
Please spread this version. If he had a Twitter he would cross promo his Instagram. At least for the exposure.
Oh, thank God
I WAS SO SAD AND THEN SO RELIEVED
