Hello everyone!

Welcome to our page of…well- currently nothing! But we are working hard to make it workable. We are a 31 year old streamer under the name plantywitch!

Brendan and I (Bunny) are the main hosts currently. Which had been wonderful for us because we’re both huge content creator nerds.

This is where we’ll be talking about content creation, system stuff, and our interests.

i (type 1 diabetic) was explaining autoimmune diseases to someone and she was like ohh right so yours is the good kind of diabetes where you didn't do it to yourself. to which i objected that's not how type 2 works either. and she said well that's the fat old people disease. and i was like you can't say that, a) not how it works and b) extremely rude. and her defense was her grandparents have type 2 and "did it to themselves" and since they're fat old people she reserves the right to hate on them. i understand hating shitty grandparents but YOU are the shitty one here to hate on them for their medical conditions and weight rather than literally anything else. hello?!

anyway type 2 diabetics i'm sorry about the world. everyone* be kind to type 2s or else

*note to type 1 diabetics especially we need to be better at solidarity and not cling to being the "good ones" at type 2s' expense. what the fuck is a good kind of diabetes anyway

also worth saying diabetes is a complex reaction to a not-yet-fully-understood set of factors and environmental pressures and genetics and it's reductive and fatphobic to say fat=diabetes BUT EVEN SO no matter if someone did incontrovertibly "give themself diabetes" that's not a free pass for dehumanization. shut upppp

i have a lot of patience with this - more than some in our system - but it does get frustrating to repeatedly have to explain that we are different people in more ways than just memory sometimes.

"you don't seem like yourself today" yeah it's because i'm not 'myself', i'm somebody else

"you had a different opinion a few days ago" no i didn't, that was someone else

"why are you having a hard time understanding this now" because i'm not the one who understands it well, that's someone else

"i thought you liked this thing?" no, you thought someone else liked it

it's such a small thing but it does get to me at times

God this is so felt;

We get this often too, mostly when it comes to trying to remember. People get so upset with us for not remembering details about them all the time.

“I already told you I don’t have a phone I only have this thing.”

Someone mentioned they have to constantly remind us that they go by a different username on other platforms when we interact to them on things like twitch or TikTok.

We have told people so many times that at this point it’s pretty common knowledge we are a system but we get this kind of thing often.

Also people critiquing memory issues and gameplay differences. Some of us are amazing at Minecraft. No recipes needed in crafting and others have to ask our partner how to make a boat and people constantly mention it like it annoys them.

Then when they say it annoys them I feel like saying “Nah dude if it’s annoying to you imagine how it is for us? Lmao “

I’m not sure who needs to hear this but fuck what your parents say about your career goals. You want to be an animator? Go for it! Want to become a streamer? Try it!

It by no means will happen overnight but if you have the drive the sky is the limit!

When I started my creative journey I wanted to try a lot of things.

In 6th grade I wanted to be a voice actor; my teachers and family told me to be more realistic and look into more realistic jobs for my future.

When I was in high school I wanted to become an artist, was told by multiple teachers to go to art school. They even went to my parents and begged them to allow me to go to an art school or after school class. When I stated that I wanted it to become a career somehow in the future my family shot it down immediately.

The out of high school I got incredibly into photography and wanted to get a better camera to progress in the hobby, working towards going to school for it- they told me not to bother. That the beginner camera was good enough and that I shouldn’t strive to make it my career.

Then I wanted to get into streaming. They disrespected my wishes and boundaries when I ask them to not come barging into my room (mind you I was a grown adult of 25-26 at the time) and told me I shouldn’t even try. That it wasn’t a viable option. (Mind you I had full time jobs during this whole thing from photography to streaming)

I moved with my partner two years ago and he told me if I was passionate and wanted to strive towards streaming I could. I’ve since become an affiliate, made enough sponsorship money this year already to have to file taxes, and have a loyal follower base and genuinely couldn’t be happier.

Shark Fact

Epaulette sharks, a small type of reef shark, can "walk" on land during low tides. They do this by their pectoral and pelvic fins evolving to be more like feet so that they can crawl outside of the water from pool to pool during low tide.

They are able to lower their hearts and the rate at which they need to breath to be able to go outside of the water.

Walking on land allows for better hunting as well as to move to more oxygenated pools of water.
