A is for Apple!
We made paper plates apples, did apple taste testing, made handprint apple trees and did apple printing. We also made apple crisp and apple juice.
We read many A and Apple books and tried to copy Ten Apples up on top by balancing apples on our heads but could only do 1 for a very short time.
First week of preschool! (Part 1).
We began with a treasure hunt for school supplies and X marks the spot, followed by tic-tac-toe (x and o), playdough x , X cheese snacks and our first reading lesson.
Reviewing letters A-E today and writing numbers 1-4. We sorted numbers 1-9 and counted popcorn for 0-11. We also sang a few songs with actions this morning, went to Bible study, and saw round snow that fell like rain or really small hail.
Today we practiced colors and counting through playing Candyland. We also learned a bit about what sounds different instruments play and practiced matching with dominoes. A fun game day today.
Today we reviewed letter A and number 0 before moving on to learning letter B and number 1. We read books A and B and blew some bubbles because B is for bubbles.
We learned the Letter A, number 0, and the color black. We had fun making tactile letters with dried mint and yarn as well as singing lots of songs like black sheep and row row row your boat. We’re starting to memorize the songs and actions now! We had lots of climbing and outdoor play too! #preschoolathome #homeschool #preschool #weeklyrecap
Halloween art projects
Today we worked on letter identification and sounds, finding rhyming words, counting and having fun with puzzles. #preschoolathome #homeschool
