There was a moment of silence before Nøkk rose a slight brow, their lips quirked in an ever-so-soft smile. It was always rather fun when their natural enchanting charm slithered its way into another's mind. They watched the slightly relaxed features of the man before them with a soft contentment.

Unperturbed by the angered display, the Nøkken shook their head. “No.” They responded quite simply, glowing eyes blinking rarely. “It was no more than an observation.”

“What are you?”

“Dean.” The formality was politely returned; Gaze a little too soft.

Again came the slight twitch of the lips as they gazed upon him, head tilting to the side just a tad as they regarded the man before them. 

“You were not utterly- shall we say-... Surprised, when you saw me, Deean...” They drew out the name a little, as if testing it. “You are not an ordinary mortal.”
