It’s been a crazy couple of months and I could not be anymore grateful and happy for everything that’s happened or been happening in my life. :]

So much has happened and its hard to believe it’s all happened literally in the span of two month.

I got to witness and be part of the celebration that is my two close friend’s marriage. To see them there with all their family and friends celebrating their togetherness, their forever was touching and joyous. The wedding was beautiful!

I thoroughly enjoy my new job, the environment, the people, and just everything about it. From applying to accepting the offer up until now things have been nothing but great and I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity. Attending a company event for 4 days that was about self improvement and life rather than business or work really opened my eyes to all the struggles people go through but come out stronger from. It brought coworkers closer and let us know that we are there for each other beyond work.

Two months in this company and I can see myself being here for a while. There’s much to learn and do but I could not ask for a better place to work. As of yesterday my director sat down with me to give me feedback that he has received about me, frankly I was nervous because it was an impromptu meeting, but we sat down in his office to talk. I came out of that meeting with a 20% increase in pay. It still boggles my mind that the raise came so quickly and in such an increment.

Beyond these past two months I have been running more for longer distances without stopping and I’m just going to keep pushing and setting goals so I can keep going. I have not been able to run like this since high school. Now that I know I can the possibilities are endless. 25 pounds off and I can't wait to continue this journey. :]
