Comments: This fic kicks off a small series. Damian and Danny meet at the mall, and Danny immediately is like 'nope. do not contact me'. It's the little details about this verse that get to me. Like how Damian nearly killed Danny just to get a leg up in Ra's upcoming choice. Or how Danny picks up on all the cues (a one way ticket, Talia keeping his sword) that his first solo mission is how the League finally expects him to die. Clockwork's early involvement, the idea that Damian is linked to Dan. There's soooo much here and I love it all.
