He struggles to communicate to Robert at times and is very sexual towards him (obviously stops when Robert asks him to) but pulls back when Robert is affectionate. Yet throughout all his faults, Robert remains kind and patient with him. And it throws Sonar off his balance.

Slowly, Sonar accepts Robert’s scratches and cuddles. Slowly, he lets them hold hands and hug each other. Slowly, soft kisses are pressed along his fur.

Really, they don’t even have sex until like two months into their relationship. A real record for Sonar.

After the revelation about Gortash, the Absolute, and the Dark Urge at Wyrm's Crossing, Karlach was so angry and said she needed some time to think.
