literally all of this and regarding the gendering part...i think that like very often people refer to robots as he or she and gender them and if you think along the more Blatant lines of like, robots designed SPECIFICALLY for the purpose of sex then theyre very intentionally sexed/gendered/all that stuff but like even on a more mundane level people gender robots fairly frequently, whereas a machine is something far too alien to sex and too impersonal to gender
