M: Hey there, we apologize for being kind of inactive the past few days. I've been liking some stuff but not interacting further despite my wishing to, so that might've been weird. We have a good reason for being so busy, though. Yuri, will you do the honors?
Y: M-Me? Yes, of course. Monika has invited the three of us to stay at her place over the weekend. Her parents have actually never met Natsuki and me in person before, so hearing about our relationship, they wanted to see the four of us, and... Assess we are indeed suitable to be Monika's lovers. It sounds kind of old-timey, but her parents are indeed like that.
M: I was so nervous during our preparations. If they didn't approve of one of them, our relationship would be over before it had the chance to develop into anything deep. So I made up excuses and put it off. But seeing as Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and I wanted to plan something truly special for that day, I had to take care of this before then, whether I want to or not. In the last few days before, I could barely focus on schoolwork, never mind on this blog.
S: We had dinner with her parents yesterday (Friday) after school, and then they're out on a mini-vacation for the rest of the weekend. We have Moni's place all to ourselves now... So consider our return to our regular posting guaranteed! And maybe even a few little surprises...
N: Fine, don't look at me like that. I already said I'll do it. I'll let Moni post my poem from yesterday. I'll talk about my papa on here, even if I intended to minimize that at first. But I will give you guys a little sneak peek. Honestly, I was also a bit nervous about meeting Moni's parents. With how awful my dad is, I kind of... Don't like telling adults too much about my personal life. But they're actually not too bad. Yeah, they're old-fashioned, and they could never understand what I'm going through as well as my girlfriends do. But as for my identity as a lesbian and my special interests, they've actually fully understood and accepted me... And that's more than my own papa could ever do for me.
Y: As for me, I took a liking to Monika's parents as well. Her father said that after one look at me, he understood why she fell in love with my inner self. He might not have meant much by it, but I found it flattering. I have discussed classic novels with her mother at some length while her father focused on Natsuki, and it's clear where Monika gained her passion for writing and literature from. In short, I have managed to gather their favor. Nat took a bit more convincing, but they came to the conclusion that Moni could take good care of her and provide her with a welcoming space.
S: In short, we have their blessing, and they wouldn't bother any of us about that kind of thing for the time being. Yay!
M: We have a bunch of posts, asks, and reblogs to interact with, and after that, it's time to show my girlfriends my world fully.
