(why thank you 4 the praises cowboy anon,!!♡︎ also so sorry for posting this so late :( ) i’m finally back writing these!1!1! ngl i’ve been having trouble being consistent and writing. i think i have writers block,, but hopefully you guys enjoy this one!! i was gonna wait till clown dropped more stuff on the 21,, but i decided i was gone for a little bit longer than i wanted so i just HAD to post this one down! •now wally is the very observant type, he’s always kept tabs on his friends, just.. everything.

•but, he can’t really seem to figure out who exactly is giving him these little notes! it just confuses him greatly,,

•the first few times these notes have popped up, he def was confused. he went around and asked his neighbors if they were the one who did this or if they knew who did it. but they wouldn’t tell him! it definitely got him more confused.

•when it came to you, you also made up an excuse. you just.. didn’t really have the courage to tell him? plus, you found it really cute on how happy he was when he received the gifts and notes you got him.

•yes, it wasn’t only notes. it was flowers, stuff he would like, even full fledged letters!

•every-time wally received these, he always got so flustered. i just imagine him looking at the flowers you secretly gave him with a confused look, but his smile was still there.

•hell, he even asked home if they knew who it was. it doesn’t really matter if home knew or not, home wouldn’t tell him.

•despite not knowing who was giving him these gifts, he still took great care of it. especially the flowers, he really enjoys the flowers. he always found himself just smiling at them, the fact that someone out there was doing all of this for him had him so, so happy.

•he’ll find himself gushing over these gifts too, maybe to julie, barnaby, anyone. even you, so it definitely was hard to not just yell out that the flowers he was giggling over was yours!

•nonetheless,,seeing him smile and just happy over these little things you’d do for him, made you so happy. yet, it did give you bit of a doubt, it had you thinking of, “oh, what if he’s expecting julie? or howdy? or anyone else beside me?!” it gives you the shivers just thinking of it.

•meanwhile with wally, he didn’t really think of who would do this for him. barnaby, well he would just pop up with a gift, he wouldn’t lead him on this long.. same with julie, julie would show up with a bunch of handpicked flowers. definitely not frank and eddie! maybe howdy.? not poppy.. she wouldn’t, nor sally. hm, it was a tough thing to think about. but then when he thought of you, he really wondered if it was you. who was doing all of this for him.. but, he didn’t want to get his hopes up.

•so, it remained a huge mystery for him. even so, wally accepted all of these things you’ve sent him. every note and letter, he finds himself reading them daily.. each flower taken care of carefully, any painting supplies and gift taken with gratitude. he definitely was attentive and careful with the stuff. he sent letters once in a while,, basically just thanking you, or “the secret admirer” for all of the gifts. it was a little hard for him to write the letters though, considering he didn’t know who it was!! (ง'̀-'́)ง

•at first not being able to find out who was sending him these gifts made him a little.. droopy, he just wished they could tell him or anything! but,, having the thought of one day showing them how gently and diligently he took care of their gifts made him admittedly a little happy.

•so, it continued on.. you kept sending wally stuff and he just accepted it with a big old smile. julie definitely knew you were doing this, and frankly.. she was annoyed. why couldn’t you just send him it yourself? she would’ve done it for you, and say it was from you!! but that was just julie.. eddie is definitely making a bank sending your notes and such to him. but she does help you, and hopes one day you’ll finally let up!

•pretty much it’s only a few neighbors you tell about this admiring you’ve been doing. but,, julie is a bit too TALKATIVE. so some others find out,, some others figured it out. (ur not very sneaky i guess…)

•it’s a little funny it’s like,, you and wally are just talking and the other neighbors are on the sidelines SCREAMING at you two to finally get some backbone and make it official.. (ﾒ﹏ﾒ)

•the problem with wally is that he’s just too stubborn and he thinks a little too much!! he just doesn’t like to assume and he can’t just outright go to you,, well he would. but he would save you the embarrassment.. if it were you.

•soo one day after soo many attempts to get you two to finally notice or fess up, julie blurted out to wally that it was you!! it was you, you were doing all these things for wally and it was soo obvious!! (in her words at least.)

•around the time, wally actually had a suspicion you were the culprit of these lovely written letters! soo, to say he was happy and a bit unsurprised. he had been paying attention to the way you wrote your letters, and that familiar handwriting was YOUR cute handwriting! he felt a little silly for hesitating to go to you about this whole ordeal. he just had to at least do something in your favor after all of the stuff you gave him.

•he was thinking of a painting for you,, but he wanted to catch you surprised.

•soo, the next day after, he had eddie deliver a bouquet of flowers right to you. obviously in your favorite color as well… he was just attentive like that. ❤︎︎

•once eddie delivered the flowers to you, admittedly pretty excited for you, there was a little note on it! at this time, you didn’t know who did this, hoping it was wally though. and to your shock, it was! you could obviously tell since he wrote a two word note..

“it’s you! :)”

• was what he wrote.. yes, very eerie and out of context wally. but still it was the thought that count. like said, he wanted to surprise you as many times as you did for him.

•and oh, boy were you surprised. admittedly very scared since you were going at a slow pace trying to show wally your love and admiration!

•you assumed it was julie who ratted you out, you called her up and she did admit it was her. she felt a little bad but at the same time, you needed a push! you felt too awfully nervous but julie was right, you couldn’t lead wally on too long. you just couldn’t.

•you thought and thought about what to say to wally.. since in your opinion you were better at words in letters than in person. but you had a nice idea.

•about after those thought and stress inducing hours, you decided to puff up and gain some confidence. usually you would hand pick some flowers for him, since the flowers around here were pretty looking. so that’s exactly what you did, you got some stuff from howdy’s and made a pretty good-looking bouquet, just to return the favor.. (you got a bit better at decorating stuff during this whole period of wally’s gifts.)

•despite having thoughts and feeling very reluctant, you just had to do this sooner or never. you dragged wally on for far too long, you went up to home. and by gods, home was READY for this day. he was getting pretty sick of the lingering gifts and thoughts you guys were cooping up together unknowingly.

•it was as if wally was waiting for you to show up and he immediately opened the door before you could knock or at least home could tell him you were here. his usual smile on his face, but his eyes seemed to hold some type of happiness on it. happiness he hadn’t felt in a good while at least..

•you felt even more nervous as he was RIGHT there in front of you, all you could do was just give him the flowers and say something as simple as he had.

“it’s me.”

•good thing he learned how to hug before this all happened!! he didn’t say anything else and just wrapped you in the biggest hug he could ever muster up, perhaps the biggest hug he’s given someone so far at least. he felt really happy, now he could show you how well he took care of the stuff you gave him and you could finally just give him the gifts in person like this.

•as much as he adored the letters and notes, and adored waiting for them daily, he preferred this. just having you near and by his side.

•it seemed as if all you guys could say to each other were just simple words, even if it was simple, it still held impact.

• “it is you.” was what he said, he really wished he could’ve kissed you. but this would have to do for now, maybe he could’ve learned how to do such a thing with you. he wouldn’t want to learn it with any other person anyway.

•once you guys pulled away for what seemed to be forever, he blew you a kiss. his smile seemingly more genuine from the norm, you were glad you did this. preferably the others would be glad as well, considering it was like watching a slow burn romance fold right in front of you.. that little blow kiss was a way of his thank you to all of the gifts you gave him. he definitely had to repay you greatly.

•you guys didn’t say anything like, “i love you”, at least yet.. you talked about how you really liked him and admired him. and you just couldn’t get the courage to give you the gifts in person, nonetheless wally was understanding. he still enjoyed them and he really liked them.

•after this interaction you guys were finally official!

•although wally was hesitant to date you considering he didn’t even know how to kiss. (╥_╥)

•but to you even if wally couldn’t kiss properly yet, blowing kisses, giving letters, gifts and hugs would do just fine. even if you guys were now together you wouldn’t stop praising him in letters or profess your love through gift giving.

•you were honestly just getting started on that, and definitely not planning on stopping anytime soon! (≧◡≦) ♡

soooo ,, quick lil update guys!! uh, so sorry i was gone for like what two months or so, 😭 i accidentally went on a bit of a sudden hiatus due to life and whatnot,,

LEGIT SOO SOO SORRY FOR THAT I FELT RLLY BAD BUT I COULDNT WRITE MUCH DUE TO SCHOOL AND NOW I GOT A JOB SO yeah,, (;´༎ຶٹ༎ຶ`)

i’m already almost finished wit the requested time for my work tho,, so after next week i think i’ll be able to post some drafts i haven’t rlly posted unfortunately. but i’ve noticed how even after a few months my posts are getting likes and stuff!! so thank you!!!!

and im so sorry to the people who requested and i jus left them on an empty page, i wrote down some drafts that i can hopefully post soon after checking it and whatnot,,,, maybe about this weekend or earlier??? i canr make any promises i’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to writing!! (╥_╥)

•everyday,, and i dont mean to exaggerate,, everyday wally looks forward to seeing you. he’s a complete sucker for any type of love languages, especially physical! it literally makes him skip and giggle like a school girl as he rambles on about you to home.

•you’re just so,, lovely,, and kind, he literally loves you. admittedly he’s more of a complimenter but he brings the love right back to you!

•you just have so much love to give around, even to him, and that just makes him happy,, it makes him feel important. he gladly takes anything you give him,,

•if he sees you skipping over to him he’ll just smile, a bit more at least, and opens his arms. cause you’re definitely wanting a hug. (he wants one too,,)

•wally will def have you in his lap and just hold you, if you want ofc,, he’s just talking to eddie while you’re just there. smiling and letting it happen.

•honestly at first when you guys met and you gave him a hug, he was a little used to it. considering his neighbors were friendly like that, but when you started holding his hand on the regular, just clinging yourself to him. to be honest this dude was confused,, did you need something? or was he just overthinking it.

•over time though, he just let it be. free hugs? hell yeahhh,,

•he was chill with you being a puppy honestly, it was like you couldn’t live without any touch,, /pos

•till one day, you jus gave him a peck on the cheek. yeah, that got wally thinking. REAL HARD. afterwards, he legit ran to home and started giggling honestly. like, you just gave him a peck! a simple one, yet he was basically jumping around.

•there was this one time, where he painted you and showed you it. legit.. you wrapped your arms around his neck and pecked his cheek. AGAIN!2!1! and thanked him in the sweetest tone. man was gonna flop over, like… ACK?!?1!1!1 dude you captured his heart, good luck.

•he’s really not sure if your little pecks were supposed to be friendly or too friendly,, nor does he wanna ask. out of not wanting to scare you off.

•but as time goes by he notices how you reserve your little pecks to him, and only him. like its not out of greeting, legit every time he does something for you you coo out a thank you and peck his cheek. like.. why was that only preserved to him? it got him kicking his legs, that little thought. that only he gets your kisses, it just makes him so happy. more happy than he’ll let on..

•if you come up to him with that little smile of yours and peck wally’s cheek, wrapping your arms around his neck, he’ll hum in response and smile more than often. he’s just gotten used to it as this point, dw tho it still leaves him a blushing mess.

•he’s pretty good at hiding his enthusiasm from your affection, he just keeps his same face on and smiles at you. thanking you for whatever you just did.

•if you ever kissed his cheek with lipstick,, man this mf is gonna look at himself and just stare at the mark left from your lips. wally just stares at his cheek and smiles, dude is never going to wash his face.,,

•when you guys hang out or smth, if you wanna just hug him or cuddle with him. he’ll just accept it, ngl he does get a bit snarky and just wraps his arms around you. doing that little sneaky smile he does that just screams, “you wish this was you.” he does the same with your kisses, like he only gets that!!! no one else!! >:)

•it just feeds his ego too, i just imagine him smiling mischievously at someone as you lay your head on top of his.

•even if you don’t do things like that at times, you just drape a leg over his lap when stretching or you lean on him,, wally makes sure you’re comfy enough. you guys are just chilling honestly, even if you’re laying on his lap, it’s normal at this point.

•he also develops a bit of a puppy crush, even if u give him a hug and walk off. he’s legit thinking, “they just gave me a hug, ack there’s hope for us once more again!!!!” (ᗒ ▽ ᗕ)՞ like.. wally, dear, cmon neow.. (there’s always been hope)

•IF you’ve got feelings for him and whatever i don’t even think he notices nor acknowledges it cause he doesn’t want to ask,, he just doesn’t wanna end up making things so iffy!

•if that’s the case,, you’re prolly gonna get a bit frustrated… cause like,, it’s so obvious that ur pining after him?? well it’s obvious to others but not him, he’s just a little confused. like,, to be fair ur just giving this dude hugs, and whatever else,, he’s a bit confused. frank is just screaming in the back for you guys to finally get it up and done with it.

•so,, if this is what’s going on wit you two then you’re gonna have to make the first move. (well,, at least more than the rest of the other moves you’ve likely been doin..)

•if you tell him you love him,; he’s confused but then eventually he’ll be like, “oh..(⊙_⊙)” LIKE IT WAS SOOO OBVIOUS ACK HE FELT A BIT DUMB. (ﾒ﹏ﾒ)

•if you aren’t affectionate even a smudge of it, wally immediately knows something’s up. like, what upset you honey? :(

•he immediately is now the “affectionate one”, he’ll hold you and listen to whatever’s making you like this. he also just strokes your hair away from your face and pecks it once in a while, if you’re just feeling sad that day, he’ll just be quiet but never let go. he wants to make sure you don’t forget he’s there.

“and then, she literally told me the opposite of what happened.” you were currently talking off wally’s ears, sitting in the same spot for about an hour, or maybe more.

“mhm-hm..” wally nodded as he kept his focus on the canvas presented in front of him. which presented you, yet again, for what.? the hundredth time?

only difference was he was actually going to finish it, due to your insistence. he kept on listening to your ramblings as he picked the last finishing touches, he wanted this to be perfect. just for you.

and to have you sitting right in front of him, made him a bit nervous yet determined. wally kept giving you glances here and there as you ranted about the latest thing sally said. even as you were rambling, he just admired you each glance.

ack, you were just so pretty.. he was so glad he put you in the spot he did, the angle complimented you well, the sun shined on your eyes just right. it was perfect, you were perfect.

“and i was so confused! like, what are you even talkin’ about? it didn’t make sense at the time, right?” you grumbled, sighing as leaned back into the chair he had you sat at.

“mhm, totally.” he mumbled out, despite the short answers wally was replying with, you knew he was listening nonetheless. “agh, so i then decided to go to howdy for help. but, then he recalled frank’s perspective again! then, i ran back to poppy and she didn’t even know what i was talking about.” he just kept nodding along as he added the finishing touches slowly, a little invested on what exactly it was you were talking about. he couldn’t really focus on much, just this painting and you.

“so, we re-routed, which was super frustrating. it was like, i dunno.. just like infuriating but then-,” as you were about to finish, wally huffed in accomplishment and spoke up.

“i.. think i’m done. now it might not be the best but..” he mumbled out, admittedly really nervous to show you his painting. worrying about it being too not to your liking.

“ooh! oh my gosh, lemme see!” you exclaimed and sat up, wobbling a bit since you have been sitting in the same spot for nearly many hours.

you quickly walked over to him and perked your head, and the masterpiece you just seen was just.. perfect.

wally sheepishly looked away, staying in his normal seat as you moved over more. standing above him, which didn’t help his nerves at all. as the silence surrounded you two, wally’s nervousness just grew more. why were you not saying anything? you were just squinting at it, god, did you not like it? maybe it was the colors he used, the techniques?

wally’s conscience kept running the nearest worst thing until you uttered those words, “it’s so perfect..” wally was a bit taken back but looked at you, “really? do you.. like it?” he asked you, his face slightly flushed from embarrassment.

“are you kidding me? it’s so perfect, wally, oh my gosh!” you exclaimed and giggled, very happy from the results. it was you! and wally painted it, it was just beautiful to look at.

“agh, i love it! you’re so amazing at this!” you quickly wrapped your arms around his neck, leaning down to do so.

“oh, uhm, i’m glad you like it.” he mumbled, a bit flustered by your actions. just as he was about to speak, he felt your lips.

your lips just smacked against his cheek, “mhm, i just love it! thank you, wally, i’m literally gonna cry.” you giggled as you kissed his cheek, pulling away after you did so. you were so happy about the results of this painting you didn’t even notice wally’s cheeks reddening. (orangening???)

wally, on the other hand, was on the verge of malfunctioning. but he looked back at you and smiled. “i’m so glad you love it.. that makes me really happy. i guess i’m gonna have to finish the rest of those little sketches i made for you as full fledged paintings, huh?” he chuckled as you unwrapped your arms away from him; which earned a squeal from you.

“ack, i’d just love that! i’m gonna admire this painting with my whole life, you’re so talented wally, i just.. i dunno how to pay you back.” you clasped your hands together, just pure happiness was over you.

“well, unless you liked that kiss.. but, thank you so much wally!” you mumbled the first part but then turned your attention to the painting. you were practically drooling over it.

wally thought about it as you admired the painting, did he like that? well, yes.. he did, it was a bit embarrassing to admit it but, he couldn’t lie, now could he?

“i.. wouldn’t mind if you did that more though.” you turned your attention quickly to him, “oh, uhm, huh?” you were a bit confused.

“if it’s no trouble.. you can give me more kisses. i don’t mind and.. i like them.” he bluntly replied, his tone did make you feel a bit silly. but, if he insisted.

“ah.. hah, sure then! if you like them, then why not?” you giggled and leaned back down, giving him another peck.

“hah, wha.. what was that one for?” he asked, his facial expression changed none, but for the color of it, it was a different story. “double kisses for double points! just love the way you shaded the drawing..” you hummed and wrapped your arms back around him, “ohh, i definitely have to double up the quality next painting then, huh?” he mumbled as you did so.

“awh, wally this quality is enough for me. i will cherish this painting till i die.” you hugged him tighter, then gave him another peck. you were just on a roll today, huh?

“hm, three? aren’t i lucky?” he hummed and your face flushed, “hah, that one was for being cute!” you kept your arms around him more, leaning your head on top of his. good flirting, y/n,,

“hm, doesn’t change the luckiness. now, i gotta repay back for these kisses, huh?” he looked up at you, his face still not changed. he just smiled at you with that smile of his.

“maybe.. i can give them out for free for you, though.” you giggled as he nodded, accepting your affections. he just watched you as you admired and praised the painting, he was so happy just watching you be this excited over him. and his work. this was likely one of the reasons why he even still paints.

just seeing people happy, but when it was you. it was such a sight, watching you. this happy over his simple paintings, he loved it. in fact he relished in it.

he really did enjoy those kisses you gave him, silly as it was to do so for him. but, he wasn’t a liar. he just hoped it wasn’t the last kiss you would give him.

one things for sure though, he definitely has to paint you more.

I absolutely adore your Wally fanfics!

If it’s alright with you, can you make a slightly jealous Wally fic? Again, it’s okay if you don’t want to, but if you do, here’s how it would go—

You’ve been hanging around with Barnaby, Julie, Frank, Poppy, Sally, Eddie, and Howdy quite often. Usually it’s because some of them request help, or it’s because they just want to hang out with you!

Unfortunately, this comes at the (slight) dismay of Wally. At first, he’s delighted you’re making friends with the others, or at least getting to know them better. But as time goes on, hanging out with him is less and less— of course, you still try to MAINTAIN hangouts with him, but it seems that fate dislikes him so! Every time you’re just having the best fun with him, someone has to come and take you away.

(Like say Frank needs you to catch butterflies with him just when you and Wally are drawing, or Eddie needs your help delivering packages.)

Either way, it makes Wally more jealous.

How he deals with it is all up to you! Again, if you want to write this, I hope I provided enough detail for you to base a story off of this! :)!!

•like dont get wally wrong, he’s happy that you’re getting on great with his friends! it’s just he prefers to have all of your attention on him.

•just him, he wants you all to himself.

•but just as long as you hang around him, it’s perfectly fine—

•no it wasn’t. why’d you stop hanging out with him more? :(

•he doesn’t blame everyone for being excited , after all.. you were y/n. just great, fun, a good person to be around. how could people not stay by you?

•and that’s what wally wanted to do, stay by you.

•even if you guys hang out with the others, his eyes are only on you. like said before, you’re the apple of his eye. his bff, everything, ofc he wants to look at you.

•he notices quickly on that everyone else is just taking ur attention further and further, which makes you more busy and busy to not hang out with him! he’s legit so distraught, he immediately runs to house for some advice.

•like, how can he get your attention more?!

•he’s handsome, he’s entertaining, he’s got like,, everything, why do you pay more attention to his friends more than him?

•you guys could just be sitting around sketching, as wally watches you intently, someone has to come up and poof! you’re being whisked away..

•okay, he feels a bit guilty thinking of his friends in a not so friendly manner. but they keep taking you away from him! you were supposed to be his!

•he’s also kinda in his delulu arc,, he makes himself feel better that you’re just busy! ofc you want to hang out with him! you like wally, he likes you! literally he keeps trying to convince himself that everyday you’re just YEARNING to be with him 24/7. (like he is with you.) wally also convinced himself he is justified for feeling this way. i mean, you’re his best friend, he didn’t go all this way to bring you back just for you to be distracted from him.

•if one of the neighbors like for instance,, barnaby come up to you while you and wally are spending time together beautifully and grabs you away,, he’s so heartbroken. like don’t go! :( barnaby’s jokes can wait!

•as patient as wally can be, he gets a bit snarky.!(not a bit, a LOT) literally if frank comes up to you asking for help with something, wally spews out a quiet sassy comment. he’s so passive aggressive. as you ask him what he said, he turns to you with the most innocent face ever and says, “nothing, darling!🫶” (lies,,)

•you know how elmo got passive aggressive if rocko and susie? that is wally, elmo is wally..

•if sally walks up to you guys, wally will legit glare at her and be like, “hello sally.” and just eyeing her. like WALLY??? are you okay? 😭

•he can get SO desperate for you to stay with him, he comes up with every excuse in the book. he’s on the brink of grabbing you and just running away. he’s very on the verge of going on his knees of begging.

•he’s honestly like a dog who cannot live without your attention for a second. it makes everyone else so confused, like why is wally being so clingy to you?

•if you ever notice the snarky comments he’s been making and call him out on it. he apologizes and comes up with an excuse. that he was stressed; whatnot.. well,, it wasn’t a lie.

•if anything he’s starting to envy his friends, which is something he wouldn’t want to happen. but, if they keep taking him away from him. sometimes he just gets frustrated. you’re his bff!

•just as things start to get great, someone has to swoop on in and snatch you. he wants you to look at him and him only at times.

•hell, he even getz a bit jealous of barnaby! his other bff, even if you both hang out with him, he still gets a bit jealous.

•as he is left there alone as you go help howdy with his shop, he just thinks to himself. why can’t you stay by him? you’re supposed to be friends, the best of friends! doesn’t howdy have four arms? what did he need help with? it should be him getting attention from you, its just not fair. why?

•he literally is on the verge of breaking down as he goes back to home miserably. wally legit starts ranting again to home, what is he doing wrong? he rants a lot to the point where tears of frustration are clouding his eyes. why is he upset over you? no, you were his best friend, he had every right to be mad.

•just as he kept ranting, his telephone rang. it was you!

•finally you were able to give him at least some attention, and he could hear your lovely voice.. (attention starved i swear,,)

•you apologize to him for leaving, that stuff was just getting busier, but then offered to hang out with him.

•of course he said yes!! he felt excited, but it dawned on him. how was he going to keep you to himself? where it was just you and him.

•simple, just be stern.

•this time, he was going to keep you right, beside him. :)

“again, i’m sorry i’ve been so busy lately. its as if i’m just a celebrity here, huh?” you chuckled, it was a normal day. sunny, nice, and it was just you and wally. walking around, trying to find something to do.

“hah, you could say that.. it’s okay though, y/n. i’m just glad we have time together. especially now.” wally hummed in happiness, he wouldn’t lie. he was really happy. you sighed and nodded, you couldn’t but feel bad.

it was if you kept leaving wally behind, so you might as well give him some time too, right?

“yeah, me too. i’ll try to be around you more, of course if you want it.”

wally wanted it, definitely, it was like he couldn’t live without even talking to you for a day.

“mhm, i’d very much like that.” he nodded, finally some time to be alone with just you. no one else.

“i’ve been feeling bad for just leaving you by yourself, and..” you sighed and shook your head, clearly thinking as wally looked at you.

“wally i really want to have more time with you. thanks for being understanding about this whole thing.. don’t get me wrong, i like how your friends are so welcoming!” wally winced at the “welcoming” part, if anything they were too welcoming. but he listened on.

“it’s just.. sometimes they leave me barely any time to just hang out with you, you know? and for sure in the future, i’ll be sure to give you some attention.” you said in confidence, seemingly determined as you grabbed his hands.

which made wally a bit taken back, wow.. did you really felt this determined to make it up to him? he felt so happy at this fact and held your hands back.

“well, thank you.. y/n. i know it’s out of your control, since you are so exciting to be around. i guess people can’t help themselves but be around you.” he huffed jokingly.

“you’re a good friend though, y/n. i really appreciate you being this considerate.” wally smiled at you, which made you feel a bit better about the whole situation. you hummed and shook both of his hands, then let go. despite wally’s disappointment.

“yeah, of course! don’t wanna make you feel left out.. hey, you wanna go?—“ as you were about to finish your question, both of you heard julie. much to wally’s dismay.

“heyyyy y/n! hiya wally!” julie hummed as she skipped over to both of you. wally glared at her ever so slightly as he looked at you, you were smiling. maybe out of kindness? manners?

he felt his heart sink a bit, “oh, hi julie! what’s up?” you greeted as wally stared directly at julie. if she even tried to steal you away this time..

“sooo, uhm, i need some help with something.” she sighed as she poked your cheek lightly, seemingly a bit shy.

“uhm, what is it?” you asked, wally kept looking at julie. practically serving knives right into her, as bad it would make him feel afterwards. he couldn’t just have you go away, not again, not now. you were his today. nothing was going to change that. home even agreed that you should give wally more time!

as wally begged internally for you to not go away again, julie explained her situation.

“so, i was gonna do this surprise for poppy, but i really need some help with some suggestions. could you—?” as julie was about to continue, wally quickly grabbed your hand and tugged you close.

“ah, sorry, julie! y/n’s a bit busy with me today, why don’t you ask someone else?” wally asked, if you listened close enough you could almost hear the passive aggressiveness. you and julie were both startled as wally basically held you. he smiled his usual smile, keeping you close. and tight. to him, you weren’t going anywhere without him.

“uhm, but it’ll only take a bit, i swear!—“ wally quickly shot her down and glared at her, his smile slightly faltering. “ask someone else. they promised to stay with me, right y/n?” wally said sternly. he looked at you, you were a bit taken back. a little flustered, yet confused.

“uhm, well, i did..” you mumbled back, you were a bit taken back as well. she seemed to be a bit scared and pitiful. “oh, uh, okay.. sorry for bothering you two. my bad!” she sighed and gave you both a pity smile, as if she was a bit embarrassed.

“it’s fine— uhm,” wally let go of your hand and smiled at you, “anyways, what place were you going to say, y/n?” you paused and looked at julie. feeling a bit bad as she looked around, backing up a bit.

“uh, that one cafe i talked about a couple days ago! remember?.” you stammered out, wally nodded and smiled at you. “lead the way then!”

you paused and nodded, mouthing a sorry to julie as you tugged on wally’s cardigan. motioning for him to follow you, you started to walk after you did so. thinking of how weird the interaction you just had.

wally lingered a bit and whispered to julie up close, “sorry julie.. but they’re mine.” he smiled at her, the way he mumbled to her made her confused. a bit embarrassed as well. what did he mean by that, you can’t just..

“for today at least, you know how it is.” wally winked and walked away, julie looked at him. a bit confused, no really confused. is wally okay? why was he being rude? she sighed sorrowfully and made her way, maybe someone else could help her.

you looked back a bit as you were paused in your steps, what did wally say to julie that made her run away? you felt really bad for that encounter, why would wally do that?

wally caught up to you and took your hand, “sorry if i was a bit.. stern to julie. she just.. needed to back off a bit, you know?” he assured you, you looked at him with confusion.

but you nodded, holding his hand back. “uh, you’re right.. i did promise you that i was yours today. huh?” you asked him. you decided to try to least not be too tense today at least. it was the least you could do for wally.

he nodded and kept his grip on your hand tight enough. adoring at the statement you recalled.

yes, you were his today.

and no one was going to change that.

•over the whole time this is happening he becomes more clingy, more around you. to the point where he just drags you along with him.

•he’s dismissive of his other friends at times too, he focus all on you. he waves eddie off and just listens on what you have to say. which does make him a bit more distant from the neighbors.

•even over the time, he gets more jealous and slightly more convictive, snarky, and just overall mean. in fact if you didn’t reprimand him for those comments he could’ve been way rude. it still makes him feel a bit bad too, those are also his friends. yet he’s just being rude. he can’t help it but feel annoyed though..

•he is trying to work on himself be less rude, to the point where he went to you and talked about it.

•you, being an understanding person thankfully, offered to help him out. make him less tense, jealous, and whatnot.

•and with your help, he does get better with his jealousy issues too! which makes him glad, it def gets him out of his delulu arc too.

•at times though, the thought of jealousy comes up.

•even if he tries to calm down, he can’t help but feel it. the emotions spring up at times.

•wally is still jealous nonetheless, and even if it is an ugly thing. it won’t go away for him. he just appreciates you so much, that’s what friends do, right?

•he’s literally ur number one fan girl. he’s there for every performance, writings, everything. you name it he’s there!

•wally just loves watching you in the process of making music, its like an art! to him, it’s wonderful of how passionate you are about it. he adores watching you almost trip on a cord as you just jam out,, doesn’t matter how clumsy you are,, you’re just elegant to him. seeing you so peaceful as you strum on a guitar or something.. 🫶 (if he had a camera he would take a pic of you 200x)

•literally every-time you come up to him with ur newest draft of a song, he gets so excited!! that inner fangirl comes out.,, wally is pretty honest when it comes to stuff. but he just can’t help himself, every song, draft, album,, literally all perfection to him. you cannot do no wrong with that. he buys all of your stuff if you ever sell it. (it’s honestly so sweet to watch you two.) if ur wearing heels or boots, you’re probably towering over him as this happens,, (i honestly find this so sweet, ur jus towering over him, asking him excitedly if he loved it, while he’s just practically sings praises to you. so sweet,,)

•to pick up the instrument part, he will totally help you with demos and drafts by playing the music for you. he’s pretty average on most instruments and would totally drop whatever he had and help you out! (will def help you out with drums, i think its canon that its his main thing,,)

•sing him to sleep, please,, he will eat that up. if you do, he’ll sleep so fast. as said before by me, i don’t think he sleeps much. but with ur singing? knocked out, my brother is dead asleep. what can he say? you’re just a good singer.

•honestly to him, ur like a siren. you’re just too good to be true and sing beautifully. corny he knows but,,, its true <3 (to him.)

•even house loves your singing! if wally needed the help he would call you and try to make house stop with ur singing,,

•he finds you in the weirdest spots sleeping too, like this one time where you were just,,, laying on the ground while holding a plant. he watched you for a bit and just shook you up, he def walked you home as you were back on the verge of sleep.

•another time, you were gone for the WHOLE day, everyone was looking for you, poor julie was sobbing as if she lost her kid just already putting up posters of you,, but nope, howdy found you sleeping in one of the cabinets in his shop. how did you even get there?? you got a scolding for sure, how was that even comfy?

•wally took the opportunity to ask you a question, you were just laying your head on a table, again (for what seemed to be the millionth time) on the verge of hitting the hay. he asked you why exactly were you tired 24/7? he didn’t understand! it was just a silly concept to him, sleeping all of the time. even if he tried, he could never sleep with the house on his mind.

•you just simply replied, “why not?” wally hummed in fascination and watched you for the rest of the time you were about to sleep. but you were a bit talkative that day, so whatever came on your mind you talked about it to wally.

•after that wally admired how much you just didn’t care for much, you were just in your own little world.

•he DEFINITELY wanted to paint you too, you had no problem letting him. he just told you to sleep, definitely wasn’t an issue for you.

•he woke you up for,, maybe about a hour or two? and showed you an absolute masterpiece, you just sleeping. you loved it, and put it up on your wall. he still kept sketching and drawing you from time to time, i mean you were just still, a simple person to draw for sure!

•wally just adores you,, like why you so sleepy?? he finds it cute, you’re like a sleepy kitten 24/7. for some reason it makes him giggle to himself.

•definitely watches you 24/7, he doesn’t wanna let you go or leave you be. like before, he’s your guide to not falling in a brook. hell, he’ll even carry you around if you’re that tired. the neighbors look at you both and go, “oh look there goes wally and y/n!” as he just carries you around. :]

•theres always quiet moments between you two, you’re probably just snoring on his bed as he sketches,, well probably you. he always has some sort of art for you, pottery, paintings, whatever he can do, he did it for you.

•he’s also noticed how despite you being sleepy, you always try to make sure you talk to him. you’re just on the verge of sleeping yet again as you talk to him about this type of frog you saw early ago. wally really notices the little things. <3

•he gets all gushy and happy whenever you lean on him as a pillow or something. literally he just wants to grab you and just run away. but he keeps it in as he wraps his arm around you. even so, you can still notice the adoration in his eyes. a whole ass gentleman too, he WILL never move when ur sleeping on him. he shushes some people to, likee shhhh my boo is sleeping.

•to be honest, wally sleeps not so often, he definitely does more now that you help him. but whenever he just can’t close his eyes or anything, he watches you. and how peaceful you are, and he gets confused. how can you sleep so much? waking up to wally staring at you with those big old eyes is both scary yet endearing. you ask him what’s going on with him and hes just like, “you’re so peaceful, can’t help but keep this sight of you all to myself.” wit those big eyes,,

•ack,, okay so he for sure def whispers to you or something whenever you’re tired. he just perks his head to you and just whispers ever so softly, as if you’re already sleeping. even when you’re dead asleep he’ll whisper some stuff. if you’re lucky enough, you’ll probably hear him.

•SPEAKING of whispering and such, he def sings you asleep. as if it was hard enough for you to do so,, but still, legit you LOVE it when he sings to you. his voice is soo soft and listening to it is just, hhhhh, makes you malfunction at times.

•he still finds you at random places too, he quickly picks you up and just wakes you up. he’s all like, “oh, what are you doin here :)?” while ur kinda like ,, “hh”

•to him, you’re just admirable. even if ur sleeping in a not so fancy fashion, he admires how you sleep, even if you wake up all jus cruddy, he’s still looking at you with his big lovey dovey eyes.

•if you have any trouble trying to stay awake he helps you def, tries to at least. if you drink caffeine to help you out with it, he’s all for it. but makes sure you don’t over step it, can’t have his lover too hyper! he also tries to have you have a normal sleep schedule (if you want ofc) but if it doesn’t work than it’s perfectly fine,, you guys will find smth to help you out. ♡︎

you were always known around the neighborhood to be clumsy, you were always clumsy y/n! silly y/n, always tripping over everything. which made you frustrated, despite the others giggling and helping you out.

but, this really didn’t stop you from doing a lot! it made you happy that your friends could at least get entertainment out of your clumsiness. so, you didn’t mind much at times. you were always going around making others laugh, without having to break your head.

you were bouncing around, falling, then coming right back up. if anyone could describe you, you would be a bouncy ball.

as you did this, you noticed a certain blue haired fellow. wally, he was.. different. when you would look at him; you just see him staring at something. or remark about something. he was just chill, whenever you would be around barnaby. he was there. just looking at either the two of you. and for some reason, you felt embarrassed as you did a silly thing.

as if he was silently judging you and it made you feel stupid. nonetheless though, you kept your act up. wanting others to be happy. cause thats what you were, silly, clumsy, happy y/n!

so, one day, you were just strolling around, doing daily shopping and whatnot. till you tripped, for like what? the millionth time? maybe nobody saw it, right?

well, not exactly,,

wally just happened to be right in front of you, holding out his hand. which made you instantly nervous, i made how could you not? just looking up at him, with his usual intense stare, those doting eyes, admittedly it made you more embarrassed by the encounter. more embarrassed to be around him.

but, he didn’t laugh, nor tease you, he just held his hand out. calling out in his calm tone, asking if you were fine.

after stammering out a yes, he dusted you off and helped you out. to admit, you never talked to wally much before, have you? yes, you greeted one another, but imagining yourself tripping daily right in front of him was humiliating.

so, you kept your distance more than usual.

after he helped you out and went on his way, it made you feel a bit bad. for practically trying to ignore him, being too careful around him. you just couldn’t help it though! he was so calm, intense at times, maybe you could even say aloof. after that encounter though, you definitely changed your mind.

after many thoughts dawning on you, you decided to hang around him more often. and he drew you in more. he was just alluring,, soo cool, definitely relaxed. more than you usually were. you were tripping all over the place, just making the others giggle, and you were a bit dumb at times,, (sorry

just silly you were, wally definitely thought you were charming. you were just nice to watch, you would do your own thing, usually break a thing or too, he loved watching you.

he would usually be there to help you back up after you fall, watch you, and giggle at you at times. he didn’t want to lie, you were so charming. you really were like a cartoon character.

basically you guys started being attached at the hip, which was a great surprise to the others! they always saw you together nowadays, wally would just follow along while you were skipping around, missing a beat once a while as you talked and talked. while he listened without a care about anything else.

during this period, wally DEFINITELY wants you to be his muse,, his inspiration. it doesn’t matter if you’re always moving , or bouncing your leg, or always bumping into stuff. he wants to paint you, sketch you, just,, to him you’re so fun to look and see. why not paint you daily? he definitely has an art portfolio of just you, ranging from sketches to paintings. it’s totallyyy not because he’s in love wit you.

he also finds himself staring at you 24/7, even if you guys are hanging out with poppy, julie, baranby, or anyone. he’ll just admire you more than he ever did before. back then, he would hum and watch you a bit as you did another silly thing. nowadays, when you would be fumbling with a straw for your juice, doing something silly, or just anything. it makes him kick his feet, it’s just so endearing, you’re so endearing.

it’s not only wally falling in more, it’s also you.

i mean, what’s not to love about wally? he’s so smooth, calm, he definitely is the type of dude whose got it all under control. he was just,, the opposite of you. maybe that was what attracted you to him, he just was elegant. at least compared to you, when you thought about it.

he was good at everything, he drew well, spoke well, walked well too. you weren’t that for sure, it was like he could guide you through anything. and you’d make it out okay. it made you feel better about your clumsiness.

hopefully by your silly antics and such, it would make it worth while for him.

wally notices on how much you try to make him happy, how you always offer to pose for him, give him ideas; always giving him stuff. it warms his heart to be honest, the fact you’re trying so much for him makes him feel happy.

later into ur guy’s relationship, you both def get comfy. a minute with you two and you already know something’s definitely going on.

cause you guys are just basically flirting at this point, well you can consider wally is, idk about you tho,, ur for sure doin something! (٥⁀▽⁀ )

but if we’re being for real, you guys def flirt. in ur own little ways, wally is pretty smooth when it comes to flirting. once in a while,, he’s pretty awkward with it, due to his,, tone at times. but the other times he’s good at it, like he for sure had some practice (≧◡≦) ♡

literally everyone around you two are just sick of it, you two think ur being sneaky with the flirting, nope! they’re basically bystanders wandering if you guys will finally announce that you’re finally an item!!

it took a while for you guys to happen, wally for instance was actually a bit confused. it took him a bit to figure out what he was feeling, he found you silly, charming, cute,,

okay, maybe he thought you were something for sure.

while you,, poor you,, you just got nervous around him and NEVER would’ve talked to him about ur feelings. like., you just felt like he was out of your league.

but, you two eventually happened,, you did it! ( ˘ ³˘)

today was simple, just you, wally, and him sketching. you kept peeking over at what exactly he was sketching, it varied to be honest. apples,, a dog, or just some scribbles.

how could he just simply draw? so easily, while the best you could come up with was chicken scratch. nonetheless, wally was patient with you, he just accepted you. even if you didn’t do anything that impressive.

speaking of this, why did he do that? he just accepted you daily, he would just coo and praise you over anything. how he didn’t mind how much you tripped over something or bumped into one of his art supplies. now that wasn’t simple.

“uhm, hey wally?” wally perked his head up as you spoke up, putting his full attention on you. you felt a bit intimidated as he looked at you with those eyes of his. even if you two came this far, you always found yourself flustered by his presence.

“yes, darling?” he asked, keeping his usual smile up. you cleared your throat and spoke back, “not to be too disruptive but.. i’ve got a question.” he watched you as you sat yourself on the grass. you could feel the spring air flow by as he looked at you with question.

“you’re never disruptive, but do tell. what’s got you thinking, y/n?” as you tried to get your words together, you sighed as you felt yourself get nervous. why did you get nervous? he was just your partner, why be so shy? god, if only you weren’t this flustered all of the time.

“uhm, okay so.. you know how clumsy i am? like, to the point where it’s my whole personality?” you drawled out personality, wally hummed. “well, i wouldn’t say that is your whole personality, but go on.” he said with sincerity, which made you cringe at yourself.

“it’s just.. why do you even like me? i just, i’m so.. stupid at times. i’m always fooling myself out while you— you’re just not that. you know?” you winced at yourself at your explanation, it was clumsy as you usually were.

wally paused for a bit, looking at you with an emotion you can’t really describe. maybe it was pity? concerned? you couldn’t really tell, sometimes whenever he looked at you, you just couldn’t say what he was thinking.

all he did was sigh and close his sketchbook, putting it beside him as he patted his lap. you knew immediately what that meant as you shuffled beside him, laying your head right on his lap. as you did so, he stroked your hair gently.

“now, why would you think about yourself like that?” he asked in his usual soft tone, “i think you’re perfect the way you are, not stupid.” wally looked down at you as he stroked your hair.

wally would never understand how you could think of yourself like that. to him, you were just perfect for him.

“well, it’s just— i.. i don’t know why you gave me a chance.” you mumbled out of embarrassment, wally looked at you with an amused expression. “remember that day when, we actually got to talk? when i tripped right in front of you? i tried so hard to stop that from happening. because, well, you’re the type of person. i don’t wanna embarrass myself in front of. clearly i didn’t do such a good job on that, huh?”

you kept your focus on your hands, not daring to look at him. you noticed how his hand stopped, he kept his hand right on your head.

“y/n.. why would that matter? i have seen you trip tons before.. and, plus, i don’t mind how much you bump, trip, or fall. i’m always there to help you back up, right?” he made you look up as he titled your head upward, “i think its charming.. not how you get hurt at times, of course. but, the way you keep getting back up after you trip, it’s.. well, its admirable. you’re admirable.”

you both paused as silence dawned on the two of you, it made you think. he really loved you, didn’t he?

“you mean that, right?” you asked, looking up at eyes he could never say no too.

wally let a soft chuckle out. “of course i do, silly. gee, you’re asking all of these silly questions.. i mean every,” he leaned down to kiss your head. “word. i promise.” his words made you smile, to the point where you could kick your legs and giggle.

“thanks, sweets. sorry, i’ve just been thinking a lot.” you hummed as you felt better about the whole thing. wally nodded and kissed your head again, keeping your head on his lap.

“but, besides that, what really drew you toward me?” you asked another question, wally hummed in thought as he stroked your hair some more. as if he was thinking.

“a lot of things.. but, it was cute seeing you do funny things. you were just a silly little neighbor to me back then, even still..”

“hm, that’s nice.. wait!” you quickly sat up, “what do you mean silly little neighbor?! could’ve at least said lover.” you whined as he chuckled quietly. “ah, yes. you’re right, silly little lover. you’re my silly little lover, right?”

wally hummed in amusement as you huffed, “guess so.. if you’re gonna call me something stupid you might as well make it less stupid.” wally shook his head and pulled you back to him, wrapping his arms around you.

“oh you, it’s not stupid.. and you definitely are the opposite of stupid.” he giggled and kissed your cheek, he definitely was feeling touchy today.

you couldn’t help but relax back into his arms. you were his silly little lover, his. and that made you okay with tripping daily, if it meant that.

as you closed your eyes and leaned against him more, he let out a little gasp. which made you jump a bit, “oh my, i gotta go give barnaby his microphone back..” he sighed and pulled you off of him gently, looking at his watch.

“you wanna come with, love?” wally asked as he grabbed his stuff, you quickly nodded. as he got up, he held his hand up. looking at you the same as he did the first time, admiration.

you took his hand without hesitation, you stumbled over a bit as you stood up.

he hummed in fondness, “you got it?”

“yep, totally!” you huffed in confidence, but after one step almost tripped over. you cursed yourself mentally.

“uhm.. how about i just hold onto you?” you sheepishly asked as you wrapped your arm around wally’s.

so! you’re the new neighbor, no matter how new you are, as said, you’re still an important denizen. pretty much everyone’s gotta be talkin about you, the first one to greet you though is wally, ofc. ♡︎

at first he seems a bit zoned out? chilled out? by the tone of his usual voice and his facial expression,, you probably think he’s zooted up. but nope, that’s just how he is. he’s pretty friendly when it comes to you, he greets you, tells you all about the neighborhood, and is overall hopeful.

a good charmer too, despite his tone at first and such that made you doubt it, there’s still a way to find this man charming. i mean cmon,, look at his fashion sense, that laidback expression, he definitely looks like he has it all figured out. if you want, he’d gladly show you around the neighborhood. helping you socialize with your new neighbors, despite his short answers and such, he’s still helpful.

after this good greeting, you seem him around all of the time. with barnaby, julie, or just anyone. it could take a bit before you guys get talking normally too, whether you have trouble taking at times or whatnot. you guys get on fine, he’s a pretty likable person.

when you guys are pretty good friends, he tends to show you his paintings, and art. which are impressive and cute, he offers to draw with you. and definitely likes your company, he also shows you, “house”! which is an actual legit living object, it’s a bit weird. but, ignoring that aside,,. it’s a swell time hanging around with wally. especially if you got barnaby, or one of the others around. it creates a good dynamic.

he likes hanging around with you all of the time, whether it’s doing the most or just sitting around with you. wally really enjoys the simplicity of things, especially if it’s with you.

wally is overall a nice and sweet guy to you, charming at times. he’s definitely the guy to have around, whenever you have issues and need some assistance, he’s gladly ready to help! whether it’d be a simple thing like, deciding an outfit, he’ll help you out. (listen to this man with fashion sense, he’s got a hella good one. (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ )

he’s mostly nice all of the time, but sometimes he does get a bit blunt at times. usually to others or you, which he quickly takes back. it’s strange.. but friendship with wally is worth it!

wally has this great idea, from house’s help ofc. that you should live with the two of them, like roommates! just without you finding out. (yeah he kidnaps you, basically.. uh)

once you wake up, he definitely is happy. and reassures you, that you’ll be with him 24/7 now, it’s like a forever sleep over, ain’t that sweet? even if you’re freaking out, he’s patient, it must be because you’re excited!

he can’t just stay in this house alone, he needs you. he assures you that he’ll always be with you.

he’s not so sure to let you out of the house though, can’t have his bff leave and run. nor does he want you lonely, so he barely leaves the house too. when he does go out, he assures everyone that you’re just sick, sad, or need some comfort.

that’s what friends do, they’re there for each other. so, he makes sure everyone doesn’t worry that much for you. after all, you’re in good hands with wally!

that’s what at least they think, wally doesn’t give you much free will. unless he’s there ofc, best friends have to do everything together.

he still showers you in compliments and gives you stuff, but he does reach limits. if you’re too angry or crabby with him, he does have to make sure you’re not anymore!

whether that’d be locking you in a room, so you can just let it all out. or just keeping you near him, but tied up. just so you don’t hurt yourself on accident.

if you’re crying, he won’t let you be. he’ll hold you, usher and coo to you that you’re fine, he’s here. he’ll never leave.

but that’s the thing, he never will. even if you’re in the other room, the looming thing that hovers you is that he’s just waiting for you. he won’t let you go. and that’s the scariest thing possible.

so, you just have to endure the near thought of him by you everyday now. even if you don’t see him, you’ll hear him talk to house, or sing. you can’t escape, anything you do, he’ll stay.

but that’s the charm, no matter what wally will be there for you. you’re his dearest friend, well besides house. he can’t just abandon you, your his and he’s yours. the bestest friends forever, even if the others did find out wally’s true intentions, it’s not like they can’t stop him. right?

well, they’re far from that.
