let’s talk about the (elanoira ellcrze melluhsims oppaxxii) situation with plagiarism and racism as a clear example of how non-black people love to fast-forward past anti-blackness.
I MADE A GOFILE WITH ALL HER RACISM PROOF
this creator openly mocked features routinely weaponized against black women (full lips, certain aesthetics), doubled down, and what happened? no real accountability.
just a rebrand. a new name. a fresh start while the behavior goes unexamined. this isn't a one-off and SHE HAS A PLATFORM. a youtube channel with 6k subs. it's a pattern.
and if you're non-black and keep giving passes to this stuff, especially after someone just changes their url and keeps it moving, you're part of the problem.
she mock black features, ditch the username, rebrand, and then lift assets from other creators on top of it. and yet non-black folks online stay ready to hit the 'forgive and forget' button without asking for a single receipt or apology.
i'm honestly uncomfortable realizing i've been watching her content for weeks now with no idea who she was, even interacting with her.
you can't just run from the shit you said. making a whole new account with a new name isn't accountability.

you can't just ignore what you said. changing your name isn't taking responsibility. it's a dirty trick. it's dishonest. and it doesn't fool anyone.
she has a platform. a youtube channel with 6,000 subscribers. this isn't an isolated mistake. it's a recurring pattern. and somehow, people keep watching and supporting this behavior.
to be clear, i'm not trying to incite hatred toward her as a person.
the behavior needs to be denounced, not the person.
Update coming tomorrow, big enough that they got in-game pop ups about it. If it's that serious, you know it's gonna break things.
Friendly Reminders:
Back up your Saves and Tray Files: copy them to another folder elsewhere on your computer, or to Dropbox/One Drive/wherever you save things you don't want to lose. So if something breaks, you can replace the broken folders.
Clear Your Cache: in the Sims 4 folder, delete localthumbcache and any old lastException and lastCrash files.
If you don't want to update, Go Offline: In EA App, go to the hamburger menu (top left) and click Go Offline. It will ask if you're sure, tell it Yes. You can play the game while you wait for mod updates.
If you are online when you try to open the game, it will automatically try to update. If you want to stop it, in EA App, go to the downloads manager (bottom left corner) and hit Pause before the download is finished. Then hit Cancel, and Go Offline.
Hopefully it's not a big deal this time, but better safe than sorry. I'd be furious to lose our game files to a broken update. Be safe y'all!
