Funny note: In one of the comics, since Vidia actually get Beck’s dress before her, Beck creates a dress with living butterflies instead!

its lowk so funny to me how disney fr just made up hetslop for peri out of nowhere for her book bc they apparently cant think of anything else to do for her when they can expand on her character w/o a romance 😭😭 im ngl id also be way more interested in her book if they focused it on her sister rship with tink instead bc they mean the world to me + if they want romance to capitalize on so bad het(-passing)gem aka tinkerence IS RIGHT THERE and they even alr have somewhat of a storyline in the books that they can use/expand on too. however i dont even trust them to not screw up w tinkerence atp so idk id rather cook my own food (write tinkerence fics myself) #soon..

They could’ve done ANYTHING ELSE with Peri but noooooooooo 💔💔💔 And I’m curious to see what they DO intend on doing with her because this’ll make me feel bad since uh. I unfortunately had to kill her off in my rewrite.. (but she’ll come back in a different form)

(P.S. They would absolutely fuck up Tinkerence if they became canon that’s why fan content is better I’m excited to see what you’re cooking..)

The cover was just released for the new book Faith, Trust, and a Little Fairy Dust. It's a 40 page book written by Kiki Thrope. You'll know her as the author of the Never Girls series and writing a few Tales from Pixie Hollow Books (Trouble with Tink, Tink North of Neverland).

The artwork looks amazing, Casey Robin did an amazing job!

2025 marked 20 years since the Quest for the Egg happened. Disney Fairies was a series that made my childhood and inspired me in many ways. It's something I love going back to, and I intend to continue this (take it or leave it 💅✨)

To honor being a Pixie Hollow (or Fairy Haven) fan for past two decades, I redrew my very old fan art for Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg. I was meant to finish this new version back in September, but I went through an art block and instead was drawing other things

For slightly better context, at the end I'm featuring some of the book's illustrations that were my moodboard for this drawing. Long story short: A dangerous hurricane destroys Mother Dove's egg, source of Neverland's magic; three fairies are then chosen to go on a quest to optain three treasures for the evil dragon, in exchange for his flame, the only thing able to restore the egg and prevent Neverland from disappearing forever

Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg was written by Gail Carson Levine and illustrated by David Christiana

To everyone involved in creation of Disney Fairies, thank you so much for bringing the world and characters I loved for so many years. Thank you especially for creating Rani 💖

Random thought: If Great Fairy Rescue was made after Pixie Hollow Games, I'm sure we wouldn't need the Gaston wannabe to even exist, because Vidia would be the true champion to defeat (she was a competitive anti-hero this long in the book series for a reason)

In memory of Judith Holmes Clarke, who passed away earlier this year in March.

She was one of the leading artists for the Disney Fairies book series (and one of few Disney credited). Her art shaped the brand to the point it was even featured in the end credits of the first Tinker Bell movie. Judith passed away the same year Disney Fairies series celebrates its 20th anniversary 😢

I'm sorry I didn't say it sooner, but thank you, Judith, for being my inspiration for so many years. I only wish I could've said it in person. May your soul rest in peace
