Remember when Vidia wished to fly as fast as possible and her ears started bleeding. she so crazy we can’t take her anywhere!! I actually completely forgot about that. Did it give her hearing damage?? 😭

No music cause I wanted to include that one clip where Silvermist doesn’t know what a comet is and it hurts me

Gosh I could go on and on about how as the movies progressed Silvermist lost so much character because like they did with Iridessa, they reduced her to the “airhead” archetype. SHE HAD SO MUCH MORE PERSONALITY IN THE EARLIER MOVIES AUGHHHH 💔💔💔 I will rescue her I will rescue all of them they’re safe under my care trust

She is so kind and she has such a big heart. Not to mention she’s chill af. You could talk to her about anything and she’ll listen and not judge. She’s cooler than water. Aha get it. Okay. ALSO did you know in the books she’s best friends with Fira? They have a polar opposite friendship it’s so cool. Silvermist is adorable too. Did I tell you how much I love Disney Fairies? I’d love to tell you about it

This scene concept was not from the first version of the Tinker Bell movie, but another drafted after that was scrapped, by Sharon Morrill, which John Lasseter apparently abhorred.

From this article by Dominic Von Reidemann, “Lasseter even hated the trilogy’s concept: Tinker Bell’s best friend discovers that boy fairies live in another part of Neverland. That sets the stage for a Romeo and Juliet story, where two lovers are caught in a war between the boy and girl fairies. The first movie ends with the Romeo fairy sacrificing himself to save his love, and the Juliet fairy going with Tinker Bell to see a performance by an all-girl fairy group informally called “The Pixie Chicks.”

In the second and third movies, Tinker Bell discovers that the Romeo fairy isn’t actually dead, and the trilogy ends happily ever after. Think it sucks? So did John Lasseter.”

The next idea featured Peter and the lost boys, so, “Lasseter told Morrill he “would not support a (Tinker Bell) movie with Peter Pan in it.””

I very much agree! Thank you, Mr. Lasseter, for saving us from these disgraces…

(I still find the idea of “The Pixie Chicks” hilarious, but this pop rock fairy band vibe does not fit the franchise, and honestly, the movies would not have been taken seriously by ANYONE if they had been produced.)

my new pixie hollow oc, her name is Astoria and she's a scribe talent. (she was made to basically be another mouthpiece for me to infodump about disney fairy facts and stuff, if you got looking in my past art/videos i think i posted Livra my first oc and basically sona for the same purpose)

i want to try opening up specific commissions so i can draw more of these lil fairies in the style of the books illustrations, like this one.
