Hello hello! This is a little sideblog to post our plural comics. Just little snippets on our life, because sometimes silly things happen and we want to put it somewhere.

Sometimes I will use “I” or “us” depending on who was fronting.

We will post mostly mundane and day to day stuff.

We're not really sure of our origin, and we don't really care about that. Please don't bring discourse into this blog.

Sky (host) uses he/they/it, Lime (little) uses he/him, Purple (protector) uses it/he, black (gatekeeper) uses it/they, Night (persecutor) uses he/it, Yellow (positivity holder) uses she/her, Red (social protector) uses she/her, Pink (emotional protector) uses he/she, Cyan (caregiver) uses he/him, Aquamarine (age regressor) uses he/him, Green (little) uses he/him, Teal (entertainer) uses he/him, and Brown (caregiver) uses they/them.

This blog is only for the comics. It may be updated or not, depending on who's fronting (only host likes to draw, generally).

We post on sundays at 22:00.

it thinks it's sooooo funny. the gatekeeper is tired. it's so difficult not to let fictives split with every new piece of media and now he's joking about it??? when last week thry were complaining we were too many headmates already? nah. nahhh. this brain is a prison. this system thing is a joke I swear.

To people who make system or plural related comics like ours, why do you make them? I’m very curious!

With us it’s because we like sharing our experiences with people similar to us because it helps US feel less alone in all of this, while also wanting others to feel seen. But even along with that, we make them for ourselves! We all love comics and they’re a good warmup practice and helpful for us to process things

I’ve seen a handful of system comic blogs pop up with an intro post and go “I don’t have comic ideas yet so send us asks” and it leaves me confused.. why make a comic blog if you don’t have comic ideas! Or if you don’t even like making comics!

it’s fun! main fixation weve got is art, so it’s a good way ti just. do warmups. also we’re always inclined to share our experiences, because it’s always a horrible feeling when you feel alone in your experiences, or weird because of your experiences, or other negative emotions from those experiences. peace n love on the planet earth

we've wanted to practice making comics since forever but always found it to be too intimidating. this was the perfect excuse to practice making comics.

we had also started discovering our system and it's a great way to show ourselves we are real, as we struggle with denial and imposter syndrome A LOT. it's also really great as a memory log, to inmortalise our experiences and put in writing specific convos. also a great way of bonding between headmates and as a communication tool

I love to bully my headmates /jk. but seriously, this was so funny and unexpected we just HAD to draw it before we forgot. because it's usually Sky who wakes up in the body, and these last few weeks have been very gruelling on everyone, we've barely have had any time to do anything besides studying.

It's funny because Brown has only been here for a couple of weeks at most, and is already done with the host. they don't play nice and they don't accept their antics. they would gran them by the metaphorical ear if necessary to get them to eat. there was no need because Yellow is a previous caregiver so she KNOWS.

New headmate. Haha. I'm too tired to even care. At least they take care of meals, that's cool.

Sorry if it isn't very coherent, we're recovering from exam week and still exhausted. We just have a project left to go and we're done, but we can't get ourselves to finish it. But at least we have a headmate to cover the meals for us. Nice.

On documentation, reflection, and moving on. Again, an extremely hard comic to write. Why do we do this to ourselves? I swear the next one it's going to be a bit more cheerful, don't worry. We're currently going through finals week and our self esteem has been on the ground. We're tired and it shows.

So, yeahhh documentation. We've been working on our binder, and it's actually done! All system information saved physically. It tooks us a bit, but we did it. And we discovered that we don't actually have as much information as we thought we had about some headmates. Also, our singletona looks goofy af, we may change their design.

sorry for no new comics, we're currently... going through it, to be honest. we're in the middle of exam season and we promise that we're working on a new comic, but between exam season from college that's kicking our butts, the fact that we're exhausted from the end of the college year, and other personal stuff, we've been too tired to draw, much less getting new ideas for comics.

like I said, we're working on it. we have ideas and dialogue written down, but actually drawing them it's been difficult. it doesn't help that we tackle difficult topics for us sometimes, so it's been extra hard. currently both Black and Sky, along with the help of Purple and Yellow are holding the fort, but like we said, we're tired, sleep deprived, on the verge of anxiety and panic attacks because of stress every week, and we haven't been eating very well. our energy levels have been minimal in general.

we hope you understand! we'll be back on our regular schedule after the first week of july! thank you so much for the support!

Something that happened this week. We don't usually like showers. We even have a designated "Shower Guy" (Pink) because of it.

Fun fact, this comic took us several days and multiple headmates worked on it. This is not really thr case all the time, as normally is Sky the "artist" of the system, and the only one of us who truly likes to draw. But this time Sky, Pink, Black, and even Teal worked on it. We're in the middle of exam season son we're not able to make a lot of comics and we're switching A LOT more than normally. That's why the style changes a bit. We never noticed our drawing styles being so different haha.

This took SO LONG because of the new designs, but it's done at last! It's been a year since our syscovery, so I wanted to make a comic to celebrate it. You may notice that we are using the new designs, that's why it took long. But I think the result is really pretty! We are not going to get rid of the old style, obviously, we love our blob design too much for that, but we wanted to make them a bit more detailed to make them easier for colorblind folks to distinguish each sysmate.

I honestly don't know when's the next comic going to get out, because we are currently in exam season and finishing up projects for college, so it may take a bit. But we're already working on one, and we have two other wips with the idea and the dialogue down, so it may take less. We hope you like it!

Part 2 of the last comic, we hit the image limit!

I saw others doing this so this is our take. (shoutout to @interior-people and @transientsatellite for the inspo). Sadly we have the 10 image limit so we can't post all of them at the same time. But yeah! Slandering headmates together!

Am I going overboard with TADC references? Maybe. But it's my comic and I do what I want with it. Anyways. Don't you have the one headmate that hates reheated food or just leftovers in general? And if they're near they will demand fresh food even tho they're not even near fronting? Because we can't fill ourselves with perfectly good food apparently.

It was like midnight and we just went, made one of those pizzas that are done in ten minutes, ate the whole thing, and went back to bed. To doomscroll for a few hours. Of course.

First time drawing Caine, hope it doesn't look too wonky.

We don't usually will headmates into existence. The other one exception we made was, ironically, with Black, because we needed someone to handle dissociation and the feeling of being blurry. Black's role in the system started being a gatekeeper, but with time he just took a bunch of other roles in the way. He's been gatekeeper, protector, co-host, dissociation holder... Nowadays he's a protector, but he still holds gatekeeper tasks from time to time. The main reason he originally stepped down as gatekeeper is because he sucked at the job and didn't really know how to do it correctly. With time, he's been learning, and he has one of the most useful roles in the system.

But this time, our Kinger fictive (Cyan) was left so distressed after the last episode of his source (The Amazing Digital Circus) that he begged Black for days to bring Caine into the system. We discussed it between Purple (because he had been in the system the longest and he's the oldest), Black, Sky, and, of course, Cyan, and we made a vote between all system members. We ended up taking pity of Cyan and now Caine is here. Yipee.

Oh boy, this was a heavy one. We had a lot of trouble both writing and drawing this, but it's done. It took us a long time, mainly because we kept dissociating while drawing and zoning out, felt our chest tight, the whole think. I barely proof read it because of this, so if there's typos that's why.

But it's healthy to try to process trauma this way, right? At least I think so. Better than ruminating about it and keep it all in. So yeahhhh.

Words of wisdom from the Kinger fictive of our system after watching the latest The Amazing Digital Circus episode. He interprets Caine to be his son, and while he wasn't personally fronting the first time we watched the episode, he watched it on his own and was certainly devastated. We hope every fictive(s) from that source are doing okay, that was a heavy episode to say the least. Extending our wishes to every Caine introject and fictive. He drew this in five minutes and gave up. Please accept his offering.

We're working on a bigger comic that's a bit heavy so it's taking a while. It's something a bit personal but we want to draw it to help us process everything, so in the meantime have this.

Not to yap on this sideblog (it's only meant for comics, after all) but I feel like this is somehow related to the comics so idk. I love love love how many comics about plurality have been popping up lately. It's so nice reading about others' experiences in simple drawings, in little stories. (Personally for us) I can't thank enough @oursystemblog for the huge inspiration your comics brought us, how we lost some of the fear of being ourselves because of your comics. How we started processing everything easier while drawing little anecdotes. Just as an explanation to anyone who sees this, we're doing this shoutout fairly often, as you can see. This is because, as one of the first plural systems that we started this little "trend" or tradition to make plural/system comics, we love how overwhelmingly positive the response has been from the community. Everyone who reads our comics, thank you so much btw.

Because of this, and taking into account that we have a good bunch of followers, we wanted to give everyone the recognition they deserve and start a shoutout of plural comics! Every once in a while, we gather some plural comics accounts we started following and we put them on a big list so we remember who's part of the community (bad memory goes brrrr) and to show them our appreciation. Plus it serves as a way to unite the community! Go systems go!
