Hii! Yumeshipping or selfshipping is a term for when you ship yourself or a persona of yourself with a fictional character! People often say that they're dating or married to this fictional character. It can be a coping mechanism and helps me a lot with loneliness and brings me a lot of comfort! It can also be platonic too! (For example, you could have a familial yumeship with a child character and see them as your younger sibling!) :D

🩵- It helps me cope with loneliness and depression

🩵- It prevents me from ending my life or hurting myself

🩵- The feeling of loving Infected (as seen in the photo above) helps me in ways i cant even explain. Loving him makes me feel loved. Seeing him makes me feel comforted and safe

🩵- He's always here for me when I have no one else to talk to

🩵- It helps me express myself as an autistic person who has a very hard time with actual relationships because of trauma

🩵- He cant hurt me like they did. He wont sa me like they did. He wont make me feel awful about myself. I'm safe with him
