Hi hello I haven't properly introduced myself! My name is Cobra Nova!
I'm a queer, blasian, ND writer from Tx. I don't write much but when I do I go all in haha. I prefer comics but sometimes writing portrays it better than I can draw haha. I've only written fanfics and scripts so far but could be fun to go beyond that.

back on my gay shit, this time for the byler fans :D
I've got two ideas in mind, one fix-it fic and one that takes place the summer after graduation I'll call "In the Heat of '89". Second one will be longer!
The first one is called "Heart to Heart". this will be me rewriting that signal tower scene and a completely new one right before the final DnD campaign. Will will confess, and Mike will respond. I'll make it as close to their canon selves as i can :3
The second one, "In the Heat of '89" will take place the summer after graduation. Assuming heart to heart didnt happen and it's just canon stuff, Will shall confess his love and address stuff from the series and Mike responds well and spoiler alert they kiss lol. But both will talk about futures and it's uncertain where they'll go from there. Also, how would the gang respond to their relationship? They love Will, but will they love Mike the same? Will they accept the both of them?
That's what i want to explore, especially as a queer guy who graduated high school only a few years ago and grew up in the heart of Tx. I grew up near Houston so can't say it was all bad but still i got some trauâ er â experiences to draw from personally and second hand. the byler nation deserves a proper queer story from this franchise and I wanna do it my way :D
also lowkey might make one or both into comics we'll see

Working on a comic script. No sure if Iâll draw it up but weâll see.
Itâs called Super Blue Moon. Basically itâs two gay teen boys. On Filipino, one black. One a rule breaking artist, the other is an over achiever. They may see very different, but through getting to know each other, they find they actually have quite a bit in common.
Basing this off of real life as well as the tropes I like haha. It probs wonât be a real thing for ages, but itâs fun :) Dunno if itâll be unrequited love or not. Weâll see :D

Was anybody else playing dead the whole time they were teenagers or is that just a me problem. Like I'm 20 now and I'm like Oh shit I didn't do anything. Because I'm scared
And you see. Now I'm scared because I haven't done anything. Everything in the world is so scary and I am not medicated. I've been waking up sweaty the last few days. I hold so much tension you wouldn't believe. But to everyone else I just look like I'm chillin
As someone whoâs started to go to therapy and knows people medicated and stuff, anxiety will never go away. Itâll always be there. Menacingly. Just cus Iâm getting help doesnât mean I donât have days where itâs just a bad as it was when I was like 7 when I didnât have the words for it. I still have those gosh darn thoughts of death and doom or whatever that keeps me holed up in my room and refuse to talk to anyone. No one irl or online. Just me. Alone. Maybe a dog sometimes. It can be a day. It can also be days. Years ago, it wouldâve been months. It even went on for years sometimes. Just little to no social interaction. It can suck so, so bad at those times, really.
But with the proper help, it does get better. You canât change the past, but what you do now can change the future. Your future. Trust, Iâve found it much more relieving to focus on what I can control than canât. And Iâm hoping you do too.
I recommend âFeeling Greatâ by David Burns. It contains all the knowledge that has helped me and many others I bet. It wonât fix all yo problems, but itâs a start :) And thatâs usually the hardest part for us haha.
