"Are submissions open yet?"
Submissions are closed and the matchups are set! Get ready to vote!
"Can I submit someone else's OC?/Can I submit a team I created with someone else?"
As long as you have the permission of the other creators, yes! There's no real way I can verify that you do, so I'm trusting you all to operate on an honor system.
"Can I forfeit if I ever change my mind?"
Of course, I'll pull you out of the tourney with no fuss if you come forward- though it will mean your opponent automatically advances to the next round.
"Can I make propaganda?"
Yes! I encourage it! Sway those votes! But please don't slander any of your opponents, in my inbox or in the notes of the polls- anyone doing that will be blocked, and if they're participating in the tourney, it will result in immediate disqualification.
"Are there any immediate disqualification criteria?"
I'll update this if I think of anything else, but for the time being- on the creator side, bigots (racists, antisemitists, xenophobes, queerphobes, exclusionists, TERFs/radfems, ableists, fatphobes) and abusers or abuse apologists (pedophiles, zoophiles, incest enjoyers, proshippers) need not apply. This is a safe space for nonwhite, LGBT+, disabled, and traumatized creators and characters. On the character side, please make sure your OC is friendly for all ages- I won't accept submissions that go into detail on excessive gore, excessive drug use, or sex.
