Team name: Team Bloodbite

Appearance:

• A short, chubby, curly haired skitty with a heart shaped tail bump. She has a lock of twisted hair on the top of her head, and one on her chest. The insides of her ears are scarlet. There are 2 bandages strewn across her coat; One covering a scar on her eyebrow and one healing a scrape on her cheek. There is also a healed scar on her front right knee. Her yellow bandana is wrapped around her neck and tied in a messy knot, with her team badge tacked onto the front. She keeps one of her brown eyes open, and often has a deviously cheerful demeanor.

Personality:

• Mischievous and more than a little crass, Iris is a classic troublemaker and problem child. She loves gore, blood, and horror; things that get her ridiculed and avoided along with a vicious cocktail of other factors. With no authority figures stepping in and her parents too scared to cause a fuss, Iris has depended on being as loud and disruptive as possible to deter people away both physically and metaphorically. She tends to snap at others when they get too close and thinks of the few acquaintances she has as temporary. While she presents herself as owning who she is, she has trouble maintaining connections due to the emotional barrier she puts between herself and other people. Iris doesn't see anything wrong with who she is, but doesn't believe she could be fully and truly loved with the way she is either thanks to her past experiences. Stuck in a stalemate with herself, she pushes forward, determined to keep expressing herself through what she loves even if she does it alone.

• Double team: By moving rapidly, the user makes illusory copies of itself to boost its evasiveness.

• Whirlwind: The target is blown away, and a different Pokémon is dragged out. In the wild, this ends a battle against a single Pokémon.

• Super sonic: The user generates odd sound waves from its body that confuse the target.

• Dragon rush: The user tackles the target while exhibiting overwhelming menace. This may also make the target flinch.

Team name: Team Bloodbite

Appearance:

• A lean and skittish noibat with flatly laid whiskers. They have 2 tufts of fur swooping down their forehead to make a heart shape. Their eyes are sky blue, and sat behind a pair of thin purple rectangular glasses. They have deep eyebags and sharp eyelashes. Their black neck of fur is well kept. Around their neck is their blue tie, which has been fastened in place with their team badge in the center of it. More often than not, they have a furrowed brow and a look of distress.

Personality:

• Emryn is uptight, strict, vigilant, and a rule follower until the very last draw. They're a natural born leader and organizer, helping to put together and properly track events and plans for themselves and others. However, underneath the responsible exterior is a bundle of nerves on the precipice of a breakdown. Due to the way their mother raised them, Emryn has grown up believing that their efforts are never good enough unless they have perfect control on the situation at hand. Things not going their way tends to set them on edge, and they try to avoid setbacks or sudden changes at all costs. Deep down, all they really want is a break from all the responsibilities that have been thrust upon them for years; the perfect daughter, the sibling wrangler, the top student. They just want a breather. However, the most Emryn can do for now is to keep holding on, making sure everything stays in place under their careful watch.

Story:

After Iris gets expelled from her chool and sent to the pokemon guild in an effort to shape her up, she gets suddenly reunited with her childhood best friend Emryn, who's been itching to get away from their book keeper duties so they can start a proper rescue team of their own. But while the twos bond is as strong as ever, they clash wildly in their attempts to work together. Iris is impulsive and battle hungry, while Emryn is stubborn and defensive. Neither of them is willing to compromise on their idea of how to get things done, and they come to the realization that being apart for so long has changed them both far more than the other expected.

On their first mystery dungeon crawl, the pair accidentally stumble into an apocalypse ritual that blows up right in their faces. It seems like it's over for them. Until the gods of life and death themselves bring them back from the brink of existence to give them a second chance. Iris has been imbued with Yveltals power, gaining a plethora body horror powers and a boosted constitution to come back from nearly anything and everything. Emryn on the other hand was given a boon by Xerneas', drastically increasing their power level and surging the energy of the wild hunt into them.

When the two return to town, they learn that whatever ritual was held in that mystery dungeon has awoken the slumbering xerneas and yveltal, and the two gods have begun to warp the world in their enraged states. Blood rains, caves coming to life, frenzied pokemon; their town is safe for now, but the spread of this frightening world is approaching rapidly, and Iris and Emryn are the only ones who can stop it. So equipped with their strange new powers and resolving to find a way to work together and fix their friendship, Emryn and Iris go on a journey to send the gods back to their eternal slumbers and save the world before it eats them alive.
