Does black&white films has to be black&white edits?
Yes, since the mood of the edit has to match the mood of the film if you are fancasting both roles as a POC.

POC!Classics Week is brought to you by @mariagolightly.
What is this: POC!Classics Week is inspired by pocpotterweek and Holiday Inn on Stage because I noticed that fancasting POC actors in Classic Film roles isn’t a thing in this fandom and the fact that Classic POC actors aren’t getting a lot of recognition than Classic actors who are white. In attempt to change that, I’m going to make themed edits of People of Color for the Classic era.
What I will consider: I consider mixed-race, white-passing, and Jewish people as people of color.
How will it work:
Reblog this post if you want to join in with the editing fun.
Tag your edits with #classiceraedit, #goldenageedit, and #pocclassicsweek in the first five tags so that I can see what you’ve created.
Must use at least one POC in your edits unless they’re already a POC.
If doing a playlist, one song must either be in another language.
I will reblog your edits and tag them with your url.
Even if you don’t join in, you can always follow the blog to see what people has came up with.
Themes: This week is Favorites Week!
Monday - Favorite Actor
Tuesday - Favorite Actress
Wednesday - Favorite Pairing
Thursday - Favorite Film Noir
Friday - Favorite Musical
Please, give this a signal boost! It will help me a lot with getting the word out. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
