The "he's in the crevice" conversation is honestly one of my favourites because of Mac's immediate understanding of the situation. Felt very best friends/familial and sweet.

That little detail is SO important to me! He doesn't try to insist that Charlie gets out, he just accepts that that's where Charlie's gonna be for the night. Like, imagine little impatient baby Mac learning to NOT try to pull little baby Charlie out of the crevice. It's sweet

yknow i'm happy facial hair mac is back but admittedly i did grow some fondness for clean shaven mac. he looks like a middle aged man trying desperately to look 20 years younger than he is to match his grindr bio. his smooth face highlights his beg pathetic pleading puppy dog eyes. clean shaven mac is not amongst my picks for most fuckable macs, but his existence is fairly captivating to me.

I find it very annoying when people ignore Frank’s complexity as a character just because he is an abusive piece of shit to the other characters. I even saw a person one time on twitter say he’s the only character without childhood trauma, ignoring that he was on a psychiatric hospital in the 50s which basically was hell on earth, specially for kids. I think this show gets more interesting and funnier when you realize all 5 characters are incredibly complex people who have trauma that informs their actions and relationships to each other but they ignore everything so they all fucking suck and end up being terrible people

Season 18's Logline! (from Deadline):

In season 18, Charlie, Mac, Dennis (Howerton), Dee (Olson), and Frank (DeVito) are wrapped up in salvaging inheritances from a dead woman, surviving tent encampments and the great inside-outside divide between the haves and have-nots, withstanding job loss at the hands of workplace automation, embracing a newfound appreciation for neurodivergence, questioning the fabric of society against conspiracy theories, and of course — the biggest elephant in the room — outlasting the public’s pendulum swing against drinking. Not to mention battling nerds, LARPers, and a particularly petulant McPoyle clan at the Renaissance Faire or sportswashing their way back into the good graces of their community by sponsoring a Little League team. All the while trying to maintain order in their personal lives and at Paddy’s, which have become increasingly lawless and erratic.

Deadline claims the Season will air at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on FXX, FX and Hulu. This seems to claim it will not only air on the West Coast simultaneously with the East coast, but that it will drop on Hulu at the same time as it airs on FX, which is very strange and doesn't seem correct.. but we shall see

I think the most alienating difference of opinion about Sunny for me is when I hear people talk about how they want it to end, and the leading hope/theory/ideal end is always along the lines of “they die” or “they get arrested” or “they lose the bar”

Of course I understand why that is, but every time I see a post like that it’s just like ..ah. ok. I have very different feelings.
