i have never been into au's but a knight x princess macdennis au is calling to me

in my world, if there were a sunny fairytale story it would be told like the gang cracks the liberty bell, where modern day mac and dennis are making up the story that stars them. that way you could have a mix of fairytale writing and modern day languge without sticking too hard to one or the other, like in the janitor always mops twice. maybe in this au theyre looking after brian jr who asks for a bedtime story and they tell a story of the beautiful dennis and his brave sir mac hehehe

actually, itd be really cute if it started out as a bedtime story for brian jr but then they keep arguing. so like i imagine mac would swear or say something inappropriate and dennis has to tell him to "hey watch your damn language in front of my kid". the story continues until they start arguing about their "characters" or their roles. then the next morning theyd walk into the bar still arguing about it at which point the rest of the gang would get involved and it turns into a whole thing

Looks to mostly be episode 4! (which I think is Gilligan's Island and this perhaps mostly confirms that hunch...) And the last one is 1807 (the Gang Gets Tested.. presumably... LOL)
